Interviewed Oct 2010 in Maynard, MA (took a day)
Interviewed for a project management position. Initial phone call, then asked to meet in Maynard. Met with 5 people, including manager and manager's manager and some of the team. Was told they would be making a decision very quickly and would be back in touch. That was almost 3 weeks ago, and nothing. Nada. Zilch. Follow-up notes have been ignored. And these folks are in the recruitment business?

Interviewed Jun 2010 in Maynard, MA (took a day)
I had a 1/2 hour phone interview with the hiring manager. He asked me about some of my background as well as some basic technical questions. I was not well prepared and did not do well with the technical questions; as a result the interview did not go well but I learned a very valuable lesson. There are numerous sites with typical interview questions, use them to prepare for your interviews! I did and subsequent interviews have gone much better.

Interviewed Nov 2009 in Maynard, MA (took 4 days)
Day 1: Phone screen
Day 2: 1:1 interviews with 3 members of the team and the hiring manager
Day 3: 1:1 interviews with developers and hiring manager's boss
Day 4: Panel interview with executive team
It seemed to me that the team was under skilled for the work required of them. There were recent global DNS issues that were highly visible. The most talented Systems Administrator and department manager left for the same company within weeks of each other and the impression I got was that they took most of the knowledge and skill with them.
The culture seemed to be great a year or so before I interviewed but hey had since stopped matching 401k, eliminated company lunches and a number of other benefits.

Reason for Declining
They low balled me after an exhaustive interview process. When I counter offered they barely budged. Their bonus plan was paid out in restricted stock units instead of cash and there was a 4 year vesting period. I missed the cut-off for 2010 by a week and they refused to grand father me in so I was looking at a 2 year wait to get 25% of my 2010 bonus. They only offered same-sex domestic partner benefits.

Interviewed Jan 2008 in Maynard, MA (took 5 days)
I did a phone interview at first. The manager asked me about the work I had done before and some technical quetions. There was a face to face interview after that . I had a group/panel interview where I had to answer several technical questions. I had to meet the director after that. He asked me couple of questions that would help him better judge my personality.

Interviewed Jan 2008 in Indianapolis, IN (took 5 days)
I was originally referred for this position by a previous co-worker. I had one initial phone interview, it was very standard and basic. From there I scheduled an in-person interview. I interviewed with 2 regional managers for about 30 minutes. during this process they stressed how much time is spent on the phone and activity expectations for the position. Shortly after leaving the interview I received a call from the recruiter letting me know they wee offering me the position.

Interviewed Jan 2010 in Boston, MA (took 2 weeks)
Tried and tested interview with standard Q&A. Interesting to note the age of the sales director. He was very young for the role. Was offered the job, decided against it as the salary wasnt good enough.
