This was the first interview lasting 30 minutes. Questions asked, On a scale of 1 to 10 how competive are you? With 10 being over the top. Did you play sports in high school? Why do you want to sell and what is it about sales that you like? Then general conversation to get a feel of your personality. You must sign a release for them to pull credit, background check, drug test and driving record. They did communicate very well through email.

Interviewed Sep 2009 in Chicago, IL (took 7+ weeks)
Got a call from a recruiter, the standard tell me about your self and why you are looking call. Two weeks later had a phone interview with a manager for about an hour. Questions were personality related, asking about goal setting and organization. Two weeks later had an invite for a face to face interview at the plant, which included a tour. Completed background check paperwork and submitted a hair sample for drug testing then. I guess the checks were done in about a week, and the next step was an interview with corporate people from Chicago. These took three weeks to set up. One interview was conducted over a teleconference system, the others were face to face. Several days later received an offer.

I got the interview through a Recruiter and the interview consisted of a Phone Interview, a 1:1 Interview, a Personality Test, a Drug Test and a Background Check.

Had about an hour long standard interview, and then got a tour of the plant. I was then given the paperwork for a drug test which I took that day. My interview was with the sales manager,it took him close to five days to get back to me after the drug test. He them emailed me the CALIPER TEST. This is an IQ/PERSONALITY TEST it took me two hours to complete. I never heard back for him after this. I believe this situation was not handled professionally. I followed-up with him once a week for three weeks, and never once got an email.phone call, or letter about whether I was still being considered for the position. It doesn't take much of an effort to let a person know whether they still have a shot at the job!
