Interviewed Feb 2012 in New York, NY (took 3 days)
Mostly questions on my cv and background. There were questions related to advanced classes I have taken from a quant and business perspective. General questions on stochastic processes, optimization, and financial analytics. More specific questions are probably expected in on-site interviews.

Interviewed Apr 2011 in Shanghai (China) (took 2 days)
First, a phone interview, lasting 30 minutes. First 20 minutes are all programming problems, like c# and Java. Then a problem about algorithm. You can ask questions in the last 5 minutes.
After passing the phone interview, there is an AC lasting for 6 hours. First, a paper test, two problems of writing codes by hand. Then there rounds 1 to 1 interviews, all programming and algorithm problems, and some fit questions. Then a group interview, giving you a topic and ask you to give presentations in group.
Be declined at last, because I am not good at coding.

Interviewed Feb 2011 in New York, NY (took a day)
My interviewer is a lady from HR, very nice. She evaluated my performance at the end of the interview. Most of her questions are math/statistics questios. She told me if I passed this phone interview round, there would be another two to three phone interviews before I can get the offer.

Interviewed Jan 2011 in New York, NY (took a day)
he asked 3 problem solving questions
the first one was about a deck of 1000 cards that were randomly sorted and he asked how many tries it would take to sort them
the second one was about 9 coins, 8 of which were the same weight but the 9th one being 0.001 g heavier. if given a scale, what is the least number of attempts with the balance would you need to determine which coin is the heaviest
the third one was about a drawer full of different color socks: 10 black, 6 blue, 4 red, if you don't look at the drawer, how many attempts would it take you to find a matching pair of socks.

Interviewed Dec 2010 (took 3 weeks)
Found ad on craigslist, received phone call asking for phone interview, had phone interview later that day. Got asked back immediately to come in for 1:1 interview. The phone interview and 1:1 were pretty much the same, same person, same questions, and read through my resume.

Interviewed Jan 2010 in Madrid (Spain) (took a day)
A good opportunity to know the Firm. Probably a very agressive interview but anyway on the line of an Investment Banking position. I took two interviews of 45 minutes where I was asked about my Resume and many technical aspects of the job. Also asked about the bank, and why I liked the Internship offered.
