The hiring managers are really nice throughout the entire process. They asked general hiring questions and gave me more insight as a whole. I felt pretty good, when I interviewed with the team. I've been in sales/advertising for a long time, and the role was a good fit for where I am in life.

I applied through other source – interviewed at Moxie Marketing in November 2014.

    Interview Details

I had an interview there today, and have some thoughts in regard to it. When they stated to me he wouldn't want to be in a business that's main incentive isn't revenue I feel that it is insulting for your clients. If you don't have an interest in the products find something else to do because I wanted to talk about something substantial. The product he mentioned to me (which you represent) is a product from the Dead Sea, used by women, and we often believe there is an integrity backing behind the name, and we buy it. Don't you buy something because it is quality, it works, and you like it? To turn everything into dollar bills isn't the truth, and is not "integrity" which you talk about on your website, or in the interview, and part of my interview process was reviewing your website, and reading it a couple of time, but some pages are the same. Your clients had a reason for their business, came up with a product they liked, and believe in, and I was interesting in actual marketing the way you advertise it: with integrity. Clients didn't just come up with some insignificant product thinking hey I want to be a millionaire. They had an interest, that interest grew, they followed it, then pursued people like you to market it. I feel your incentives are completely backwards than how they should be after speaking with them, and I was disappointed, and he offended me. I know your clients want to make revenue and that is why they hired you, but I can assure you more than you would probably think would prefer that you actually know their products, and what they are about than create some disjointed mockery of them by turning their work into nothingness. The definition of integrity is the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles; moral uprightness. It is very important to understand this if you're going to state that you have it, and use the word so many times in an interview with me because you kept rubbing me the wrong way. It wasn't what I experienced. Had you been a company with products you believe in, and support I would've been interested, but he really put a bad taste in my mouth and I thought whoever owns this company, and others who interview may need to know.

The process took 4 daysinterviewed at Moxie Marketing in August 2014.

    Interview Details

Upon applying at Glassdoor.com, I received a phone call about two days later asking if I could come in to speak with their direct human resources manager. Before I came in I asked questions concerning what was the business about and what did they do to help promote other businesses. After doing further research I decided to come in for a face-to-face interview. The interview was short but I did ask a lot of questions because I was told 20 other people had applied for my position. Afterwards I received another phone call asking for one more interview. This interview was going more in-depth on what the company was about what my position was about and if I had any real knowledge and doing human resources. Overall you have to be a people person. You also have to know how to read people. The three-step interview process was simple to those who are a people person.

I applied online. The process took 4 daysinterviewed at Moxie Marketing in October 2013.

    Interview Details

The interview process was fairly simple and very quick. After submitting my resume, I was contacted by the HR Director and was asked for a brief overview of what I'm looking for and about my previous employment. She then setup a preliminary phone interview for me with the hiring manager for the following day. During the preliminary phone interview, the hiring manager went over the position and the expectations they were hoping to fill in the position. I was then selected for a face-to-face interview at the office. It was during this time I was given a thorough understanding of the company and all the in's and out's of how they work with clients and profits they earn from the events that are run. From the office I was sent to see an event and get a better understanding of what they looked like. This was my favorite part of the interview. I was only there for about 15 minutes and was able to one of the top employees of the business. Everyone in HR is extremely nice, cooperative and made for a stress-free interview. Overall, I really enjoyed the interview process and was VERY happy that Moxie didn't drag out the interview.

    Interview Questions
    • I wouldn't necessarily say there was anything strenuous about the interview. It's definitely a good idea to look over the client portfolio and have a overall idea of the company.   Answer Question

Filled out an application online through their website. Within 3 days I had gotten an email stating to call them and set up a phone interview. After the phone interview, I got a call to set up my face-to-face interview. Upon that interview, I found out that I was to drive 20 minutes to the Sam's club where my supervisor would be working. Drove out there and learned how the business worked and to see what the job would be like

After I looked up some more information about the company, I found out it was the kind of marketing that is just sales basically. For someone with a degree in communications I did not think this was the best use of my talent or time.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at Moxie Marketing in May 2011.

    Interview Details

Had a simple phone interview where a manager talked AT me for about 15 minutes and asked me simple questions about marketing. A week later I was invited for a 1:1 "interview". The interview consisted of me driving to Arlington where someone talked AT me for about 7 minutes and then they sent me to a job site in Dallas where I had to follow someone around a Sam's Club where they tried to sell nail products to customers who were minding their own business and didn't seem interested in what they were selling. After I followed someone around for 10 minutes we sat down were they talked AT me again about their company. Overall, they didn't find out anything about me, but I learned that I didn't want to work for them. I left upset because they told me this was an interview for a management position, but they tell that to every single person who they "interview". Also, I was upset that they made me drive all over the DFW metroplex without forewarning. One other thing that really bothered me is that they asked me to dress business professional, but the person that interviewed me was wearing black pants, a white shirt, house slippers, and had dread locks. This is not for a serious college graduate.
