Interviewed Jul 2011 (took 2 days)
They threw people who I would not work with, into the interview just to fill time. I work in an area that is evolving quickly and which I am an expert at. They said they are looking to hire many people and I know that people my skill set are extremely hard to find right now. So it was rather funny that they did not offer me the job with no explanation.
I think the company has too many people working at it, and they don't have enough to do. They said they are hiring 500 more people, I find that somewhat unfathomable.

Interviewed Mar 2011 in Mountain View, CA (took 1 week)
A recruiter contacted me after I was referred by an employee. He asked about what roles I'd be interested in,what the biggest project I'd worked on was. I later received an e-mail saying that I was not going to be a great fit.

Interviewed Oct 2010 (took a day)
First interviewed with recruiter that went through the basics. Next was a phone interview with hiring manager. They asked thorough questions and asked some creative ones too - for instance, what would you do with a brick.

Interviewed Sep 2010 (took a day)
Just a Q/A asking:
1. Where do you see yourself after graduation?
2. Given an array of unique objects, how can you traverse through them to find the a given one and it's index. How would you do it you had to do it in constant time? (hashtable) Without a hashtable?(tree)
3. If someone calls you with a problem "My firefox browser is running slowly", how would you, as a developer, go about fixing it? (Firefox is Millions of lines of code). ANS: ask them: "What part is running slowly? What actions are you doing that are causing the slow running? Are there any other applications open? Are any of those using the internet? " etc.
Everyone I interacted with was super nice and kind. Not one thing wrong with the people I spoke with.

Interviewed Jul 2010 in Mountain View, CA (took a day)
Pretty typical -- technical phone screen, followed by a day of talking to individuals who were loosely focused on different facets -- some technical, some personality/style.
The technical focus was quite deep (as I would expect and hope), but not gruelling (with one exception, where the interviewer was much more rapid-fire with the technical questions).
In general, though, it was quite conversational.

Interviewed Mar 2009 in San Francisco, CA (took a day)
It is the add-on team, an engineer from which phone interviewed me on the intern position for interaction design. Due to the lack of experience, I didn't do very well on the questions. I realized during the interview that I was not well prepared and the answers are not satisfied to me. So overall, it was a lesson for me. I have no doubt later I received the declined email.

Interviewed Dec 2009 (took 4+ weeks)
Started by working with HR, very nice and friendly, but took awhile between correspondences. Then spoke on the phone with the manager of the open position and had a 30 minute call. Lastly I was brought in and talked to five different members of the team. Pretty standard interview, some questions tougher than others and a lot of scenario discussion. Overall, I was close but no cigar for the job...
