Mozilla Systems Administrator Interview

Interviewed Oct 2011 (took 2 weeks)

Although slow-moving, the initial HR screenings went well. The first mildly technical interview was handled by the group manager, and it went very well. The full technical interview was postponed, before being given to a random team member who did not have interviewing skills or a desire to perform the interview. There were lots of sullen grunts and overall a feeling that it was a complete waste of his time and skills to have to interview people. I don't believe there were any prepared questions, and he was not paying full attention (frequently trailing off in mid-sentence or asking me to repeat myself because he wasn't listening.)

Needless to say, they did not offer to follow up.
