I applied through college or university. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Mu Sigma in August 2014.

    Interview

I applied through campus recruitment. It had all the usual 'MuSigma' rounds i.e an online test (elimination round), then a basic programming and a video synthesis round (counted as one and also an elimination round). Students who got through these were called in for case study, i.e the GD. Finally an HR round for the selected students from GD, followed by a technical round (basically puzzles or they might ask you of the C program you solved) or vice-versa. These are easy to get through if you've practised apti, solved clichéd puzzles and, most importantly, can converse well.

    Interview Questions

Interview process: · Problem solving (Algorithm round)- Test your Logical Thinking , would be very easy if you are very comfortable with C programming · Case Study:- Tough Round especially for first timers , Test your analytical reasoning and practice a few cases before attending these rounds · Video Synthesis:- Your perception and common sense are the things they tested · Group Discussion:- This round tested your attentiveness , presence of mind and your ability to work with team .Try to be polite and constructive. · Personal interviews:- Easiest round(I felt).Be honest and true to yourself.

    Interview

I applied for this job through campus interview. They first gave us a brief introduction about their company with the help of presentation. The process consisted 5 rounds : 1) Aptitude ( Very easy, 15 questions in 15 Minutes ) 2) Video Synthesis ( 9 line description of shown video, easy ) 3) Problem Solving ( Pseudo code is given, we have to give output and answers to a few questions, very easy) 4) Group Case Study ( A bit difficult ) 5) Personal Interview

    Interview Questions

    • For me, group case study topic was a bit difficult, and I got out of the process because of that only... The topic was.. 'Imagine that you have to sell Merchandise of RC Bangalore team in a city other than Bangalore. Where would you sell ?' We had to discuss the strategy for selling the merchandise, which was quite difficult for me, as I'm not a fan of cricket. :P   Answer Question

    Interview

1st round : Online test for 35 mins. Divided into four sections. Multiple choice questions. Aptitude for 3 sections. Computer programming - 4th section. Section wise cutt-off present, so one needs to answer questions from every section. 2nd round : Video synthesis. A movie clip is played for 5 mins. Need to 'synthesize' the video in crisp and clear sentences - in 10 mins. 3rd round : Case study. 20 mins. 4th round : Group discussion. Make sure you don't monopolize or dominate. Be clear and crisp. Agree/disagree/second/add to the conversation. If you couldn't speak due to lack of space for speaking - you would be asked to speak by the panel. 5th round : HR.
