Interviewed Feb 2011 in Bangalore (India) (took a day)
I filled out an online form for the interview in some random website i cannot recall the name of. After this i went to the interview center and the process began in the morning with a simple IQ test which mainly consisted of puzzles, quant questions and some verbal ability questions. This was followed by a GD consisting of 10 people. This again was followed by two one on one interviews which consisted of an HR interview and an interview where i was asked puzzles etc.

Interviewed Mar 2012 (took 4 weeks)
The interview process started with an HR executive calling from the Bangalore office to discuss my background and present salary. After this, I met with two engagement managers who basically asked a few mini cases and some random questions to gauge how I would perform under pressure. The interview with the geography head was fairly informal where he tried to understand my motivation for joining Mu-Sigma. In between all of these interviews, the HR executive would call up from the Bangalore office to schedule the next interview. Overall, it seemed people had a lot on their plate are were working long hours though people enjoyed what they did.
Interview Questions
Reason for Declining
Offer was lower than industry standards. The HR Manager (the boss of the HR executive) was fairly rude in answering my questions, never replied to emails, gave incomplete answers and refused to ask the right people for the answers, had no clue how the visa process works which is a big consideration in case you are on a non-immigrant visa and was overall very unprofessional. I left with an impression that an employee was a mere commodity for Mu-Sigma. The interaction with the HR manager left a very bad taste and was the biggest reason for me declining the offer.

Interviewed Jan 2010 in Jaipur, Rajasthan (India) (took a day)
The Organization seemed to be looking for smart, well spoken and intelligent individuals who enthused with a lot of willingness to learn. The interview was a little bit technical in order to assess onez seriousness and basic attitude towards learning. It was more based on logical reasoning. Although some of my co-applicants did get puzzles to solve, my interview was more on my general reasoning of the world. Rest of it was based on my background and CV. The company would be impressed if you knew about them and their functions and philosophies. One should seem eager for long -term association with the organization. They are looking for candidates with good communication skills. This was their criterion of shortlisting candidates after the Group Discussion.

Interviewed Mar 2012 (took 4+ weeks)
Applied through their website and got a call from the HR. (The HR being located in India meant most of the calls came through well past midnight - something to be prepared for if you are applying from the US). Followed by 2 rounds of interviews with engagement managers and one with the geography head. The discussions mainly centered around my resume and experience, nothing statistical was asked. One of them consisted of a case study in my area of expertise. Was offered a position 4th week into the interview process.

Interviewed Feb 2012 in Bangalore (India) (took a day)
step wise, the following
1. Written test, sections including quantitative, DI, verbal assesments and an essay. Topic of the essay was "Jamshedpur". (this was a recruitment drive in nit jamshedpur)
2. Group Discussion with around 10 people per group. the topic was "education in india"
3. Synthesis Round. - had to summarize points from a 10 minute video.(non-eliminating)
4. personal interview. asked about my resume, why mu-sigma, reasons for low acads, puzzles, etc
my advice to candidates is to be confident and assertive in the interview, and don't give them too many reasons to reject you.
