I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Mutual of Omaha (Winston-Salem, NC) in August 2015.
Pretty much they want 200 names and addresses of people you know and can sell insurance to. The interview isn't very hard if you can accomplish that task by the start of your training. I'd been sucked into something like this before and personally hated it. With that said if you don't mind giving 200 names of people that Omaha can bother selling insurance to you can make a decent amount of money with this company. It's also cool because you don't have to show up to the office everyday you just have to be able to network to insure you can constantly get refferals to set up more appts. It's not entirely commission base they do pay you for training and provide incentives for getting a laptop or a phone. They will pretty much take anyone who can provide this and is semi intelligent.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Mutual of Omaha.
I began the interview process with an informal discussion with an employer. I was contacted via a recruiting website. The interview was very laid back, and the employer seemed genuinely interested in the discussion. I consider the interview to be a very positive experience, and I am looking forward to a potential future working with the company.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at Mutual of Omaha (New York, NY) in June 2015.
Three step process very informative and realistic about expectations of the position. Started with a phone interview, then a meeting the general manager, and then the division manager. Each step was informative in a different way. Seems to be easy to be accepted as long as you accept the lifestyle that they lay out for you to succeed.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Mutual of Omaha (Buffalo, NY) in June 2015.
3 interview process, brief introduction discuss avenues in the company and growth within. Basics of what you will do and how you will paid. Discuss how to gain a book of business. Meet with recruiter, manager, owner. You meet one on one and discuss things over the phone. They each give you an introduction into what to expect as well as incentives you can receive in order to make you want to work there and work hard. Very friendly and was an easier interview and less "scary" than others. Im sure it has to do with the high turnover the industry has in their employees.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took a week. I interviewed at Mutual of Omaha (Irvine, CA) in May 2015.
After applying on monster.com I received a call from a recruiter. There were minimal background questions and it was more of a recruiting session to get men to attend the interview. The interview was very unprofessional and disorganized.

I applied through college or university. The process took a week. I interviewed at Mutual of Omaha (Smithville, MO) in February 2015.
We met at the Mutual of Omaha office. There was no secretary or anybody else in the front of the office. I rang a bell that finally got the hiring manager's attention. The interviewer was polite at the time, but after I informed him that I was not interested in the position, I got harassed for the next couple of weeks. The ordeal finally ended with The Hiring manager sending me an unprofessional email that basically criticized me for not wanting the position.

I applied through college or university. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Mutual of Omaha (Overland Park, KS) in February 2015.
The interview was in a small office floor level that maybe four employees were even in. The manager was very enthusiastic about his job and about how much opportunity there was in the company. I do not want to be in sales and work of commissions so I did not except the second interview that I was offered.
