Interview Details – The application process begins by sending out a resume, cover letter, writing sample and a series of short essays (which take a while to write out).

I heard back from the company about an interview about 10 days after the deadline passed. NBC News flew me up to their headquarters at Rockefeller Center for a first round interview, one-on-one with the director of NBC News (who was extremely nice). This one was pretty informal and focused on my interest in journalism. It was brief, lasting little over an hour.

The final round interview was also at NYC (company flew me up again). This one involved a panel interview with about 10 people, followed by a short interview with an HR manager. The entire round took about an hour. Heard back a few days after the interview concluded.

Company was extremely professional and accommodating. Paid for transportation to and from the airport, as well as flights. I really enjoyed meeting with the individuals I encountered during the process.

Interview Details – First interview was with the HR dept over the phone, the woman was very nice and helpful. She asked for me to clarify some points on my resume and then sent it forward for a sit down interview. That interview was also wonderful but very detailed in questions. They wanted to know specifics about the type of producing I had done. I was upfront that I did not have much experience with key tasks they wanted. The interview was very enjoyable. Was brought back for two more interviews and they kept focusing on the key skills I was not strong in almost like they wanted them to magically appear. I was told my questions were very good. The process takes a long time from the time you enter 30 Rock until you leave, dont expect to get in and out quickly. Also if you show up to early you are stuck waiting downstairs with all the tourists. Arrive about 10 min before the interview because that is about all they will give you to head up to your floor.

Interview Details – This process went much faster than I would imagine any other process to. I submitted my resume and cover letter online, within a week I received a call from HR. HR was very detailed and thorough. A few days later an interview was set up with the hiring manager and who would be my eventual boss. Interview lasted about 30 mins..standard questions, what am I looking for, what is my salary requirements and how quickly I would be able to start.V ery quick, very standard. HR called again to say I would have another interview with the head of HR. I had that..it was about 20 mins..again very standard. And then I was made an offer. The whole process was no more than 3 weeks

Negotiation Details – In my interview with the hiring mgr, I was asked my expected salary, I gave what I would like to be at, and did say I am willing to negotiate. Turns out, the hiring mgr ok'd what I wanted, and that was my offer

Interview Details – I first spoke with the current intern through a phone interview that lasted about 15-20 minutes--the interview wasn't pre-scheduled but was done right then and there. About a month or so later I heard back from the intern and they invited me for an in-person interview.

Interview Details – phone interview w/recruiter, person to person interview with HR & hiring manager

Interview Details – Auditions required; company notified agent. Upon arrival to set, preferred parking was provided, and taken to wardrobe/makeup upon signing contracts, then to actual locations of filming. People, atmosphere and culture were professional, courteous and inviting.

Negotiation Details – No negotiation- contract status, But worth it.

Interview Details – Was pretty basic. Selected from my campus recruiting HQ. Brought into an intern training day. Accepted position.

Interview Details – Met with a recruiter first, who asked typical qualifying questions. Then met with the hiring manager for a 30 minute interview. I received an offer a week later.

Interview Details – The interview with recruiter was fine, but when I met with my potential boss, she was stressed and distracted with work the first half of our interview. I was prepared for more specific questions pertaining to tasks the job entailed, but she ended up asking very broad generic questions and wasn't taken with my responses.
