Interviewed Apr 2010 in Duluth, GA (took 4+ weeks)
I got a call from a outsourced HR firm for the interview , i drove down for the face to face interview with one of the IT managers . Unlike most reviews My experience had been pleasant ( both with the HR firm and NCR manager) . The interview was directed towards my past experience and future aspirations i had two rounds of face to face interviews . After the interview i thought they needed some one with more experience than mine . I got the call nevertheless for second round ( after almost a month) , its been 2 weeks now they havent reverted so iam assuming i didn't fit the bill , I found it very interesting that they don't dwell much into technical detail , all the questions revolved around what i did in my prior engagements

Interviewed May 2010 in Duluth, GA (took a day)
The initial interview was a phone screening interview and the questions were all behaivoral type questions. It started with some basic background information on NCR and the benefits they offered. The next portion of the interview was more on my employment history and past work experience. The final portion of the interview was more behaivoral questions.

Interviewed May 2008 in Budapest (Hungary) (took a day)
The open internship positions were listed, we just had to choose one or maximum two of them. After it we were asked the special field of interest why we had chosen that. I told the recruiter that I can speak English (more or less), and I had to answered the questions... If you really want to go there, you will get the job!

Interviewed Apr 2010 in Duluth, GA (took 2 days)
Applied online. Had an initial phone interview with the NCR Recruiter who was located in Duluth Ga. We discussed my background, job goals, expectations, salaries, etc. Overall positive first phone conversation. Recruiter stated she would get back to me in the next 2-3 business days once she spoke with the hiring manager.
After a few days had passed and didn't hear anything back, I called her 2X to follow up with no response.
Very Disappointing.

Interviewed Apr 2010 in Duluth, GA (took a day)
I just had a phone interview with NCR for a project manager position, and I was pretty shocked that the interviewer was a non-NCR employee; apparently the phone screening has been outsourced to a company in Ohio. The interviewer read the questions from a script (and I had already answered many of the questions when I applied online!) and laboriously typing down my answers, sometimes asking me to repeat a portion of my response. My attempts to create a rapport with the 'interviewer' were pretty much ignored, and there was no opportunity to ask any questions about the position. The whole experience was pretty surreal; I've never had an outsourced pre-screening before, other than those occasions where I worked with a recruiter to submit to a position. Apparently I'll know in two weeks if I will be granted an in-person interview. This experience makes me thankful I am currently further in the interviewing process with two other candidate employers, none of whom outsource their interviews!

Reason for Declining
By the time an in-person interview opportunity with NCR rolls around, I'll have accepted another offer.

Interviewed Dec 2009 (took 1 week)
I had applied online for the position and received an email within a couple of days for a phone interview. I had the phone interview which took approximately 25 minutes and was not conducted by the hiring manager. A couple of behavioral questions and that was it. They seem to have a service set up (with 800 number) to initially screen candidates. I received an email a couple of days later saying that I was not being pursued.

Interviewed Apr 2010 (took a day)
Did the phone interview, that seem to be an outsource company. Then the next 2 days I was called to setup a face to face interview.
There was 3 people and the interview I believed went well it lasted for 45 mins. Its been 2 days and nothing yet but I do know the hourly wage which is $16-$18/hour, they give a company van, laptop, and a blackberry cell phone. Not sure if Im going to accept the job if an offer comes up but I do feel it is a great company to start out. This would be my first electronics job coming right out of 2 year college.

Interviewed Mar 2010 (took 2 months)
I applied for the job in early 2010. Several weeks later, I got a call that I had made it to the first telephone interview. I got through that and then had a second phone interview. Then a third phone interview with one of the attorneys I would be working with. Finally, got individual in person interviews with 5 different people. Then came a video interview with two attorneys. After two weeks of not hearing from NCR, I emailed their recruiting group to find out if the job had been filled. I got an email back that it had. I understand that these days most people never hear anything after an interview but I thought that after going through almost two months of interviewing, I would at least get the courtesy of a rejection call or letter or email but I got nothing. The recruiter told me I came in second for the job so if I did that well, then why couldn't they at least call me and tell me that I didn't get the job. She recommended that I apply for two paralegal positions they have available now but I am not interested in going through another two, three, four, etc. months of interviews to again not get any kind of a response. After reading the comments on this board, I think I am probably very lucky I didn't get the job anyway. I hope anybody who applies with NCR is not in any hurry to find a job and if you get another job offer while you are waiting, take my advice and take the other job.
