Interviewed Jan 2010 in Portland, OR (took 1+ week)
Applied to position online, received a call from HR, went through a 25 minute screening interview. Was called in to interview in a panel format. Interview with two Senior Managers and an analyst. They asked STAR questions (Tell me about a time when... what was the result...) and seemed to stick to a script. Afterwards had an informal chat with the manager and toured the company's campus. About a week later I received another call and came in to interview 1:1 with a Director. They mainly asked about my interests and why I wanted to work with the company, told me about expectations, etc. Overall I would say the interview process is very standard and did not think it was difficult at all.

Negotiation Details
Try your best to negotiate your starting salary - Nike likes to lowball because they feel they have "pricing power" since so many people want to work there.
Other Details
I Applied Online and the interview consisted of a Phone Interview, a 1:1 Interview and a Group/Panel Interview.

Interviewed Jun 2010 in Beaverton, OR (took 2 months)
The hiring and interview process at Nike is lengthy but not overly. The process includes behavioral open ended questions that gauge how you would react in a given situation. This is conducted by a panel of 4 - 5 individuals that have a stake in the role's performance. Nike's organization is structured in a matrix so there are a lot of roles that have a stake in how an employee performs.

Interviewed Nov 2010 in Beaverton, OR (took 6 weeks)
The interview is like most of the big box retail. Phone interview is more on the tech side and follow by face to face interview with a group. The group interviews are pretty much the standard items you can think of and nothing is really outside the box. However, mine took 3 different schedules with the same hiring manager and vp of the group. Interview is friendly and casual and it is a good experience altho i didn't get the job offer at the end.

Interviewed Jun 2010 in Beaverton, OR (took 3 weeks)
Interview process consisted of an initial phone screen (by a headhunter) who essentially asked very generic questions about "why Nike?" and "why Portland/Beaverton" to assess fit. Second phone interview was with a Strategy Manager who seemed distracted and not prepared for the interview - he asked a very simple market assessment question. Final round interviews were all day on campus in Beaverton - very cool place and Senior Strategy leadership were impressive, but overall, salary and the company's interest in me (though they offered me a position) seemed lacking.

Reason for Declining
Salary was extremely uncompetitive compared to my current (at the time) management consulting role and other corporate strategy / investment finance offers I was considering

Interviewed Dec 2010 in Beaverton, OR (took 2 months)
I had a full month of weekly interviews, before flying out to Oregon for the in-person interview. Everyone was really great. I'm not sure how long the hiring process takes, considering I had four phone interviews.

Interviewed Jul 2010 in Portland, OR (took 2 months)
I'm still in the process of interviewing with Nike, but my experience so far has been positive. HR was very friendly, and always got back to me on every step of the process. After the interviews with potential manager & colleagues, I would write a "thank you" e-mail, and would even get a response back from them (which is usually not the case, from my experience). I should be hearing back soon on whether I will get an offer or not, and after my little experience with the company so far-- I'm definitely hoping I do!

Interviewed Jan 2009 in Beaverton, OR (took 3 months)
I had a series of phone interviews since the company is located across the country from where i live. Everyone was friendly, most were hiring managers for positions available. I had 4 phone interviews with managers, 2 with HR, and then one call from my ultimate manager that hired me. The process started in Jan and I got hired on April Fools day. Took a long time, but was well worth it
