Interviewed Apr 2012 in Santa Clara, CA (took 5+ weeks)
I got the first interview after I applied online and I did not receive the outcome from the interview. After about one month, I applied for some other positions online and got an interview request on the second day, but not for the positions I just applied for. During the 2rd interview, I was told that the interview is the 2rd interview after my 1st interview and at the end of this interview I was told there would be the 3rd interview for, but after 2 days, I got rejection letter from HR.

Interviewed Feb 2012 in Santa Clara, CA (took 2 weeks)
Got a call through career fair. There were two rounds of phone interview 45 mins each. The first interview focused on questions about projects described in the resume and 1 design question. The 2nd round was purely technical. I was asked 4 design questions each with increasing level of difficulty. I was able to answer all the questions although it took me time to figure out the answers. Did not clear the 2nd round. My advice is to practice a lot of digital design problems before giving the interview .

Interview consists of 3 phone interviews. First one is more of a background check. Talked about resume background. The rest are mostly discussion on basic interview questions. Very technical. Looked at different perspective of the problem and solutions. Overall, it is an interesting experience, the interviewer are nice and know a lot of the technical questions. They invoke discussion on your answers to see your understanding of the materials.

Interviewed Oct 2011 (took 4+ weeks)
There were three phone interviews. They are all pretty much the same but with different people of course. They ask you questions about your resume for the first 10 minutes and then its straight into technical questions. The questions that were asked was about timing of a circuit, how to design a AND gate out of a XOR gate. Pretty much basic design question you would learn in your sophomore logic design class.

Interviewed Nov 2011 in San Jose, CA (took a day)
It is only a phone interview with one of the hiring manger I think. I don't know why I can hardly hear him even though I was at a very quite place. He asked about how to calculate setup and hold time by giving some parameters in the circuit. Also, frequency divider by 3 with 50 duty cycle.

The interviewer is nice, he gave a sheet and write my information, then answer the questions behind the sheet. There are two questions, one is about FSM, you should design a FSM with 5 bit, its function is to counter the even number of 0 or 1, e.g. 2, 4, 6.... The second questions is about Combination logic, to conter the first 1 bit in the 8192 data stream. the output it in 13-bit index. it is a little difficult!
