Interviewed Sep 2011 in San Jose, CA (took 2 weeks)
I had to undergo three rounds of phone interviews. First round consisted of three technical questions viz. Static Timing Analysis, writing a Verilog Code and writing a code for finding palindrome using recursion. @nd interview was based on my resume. Third interview was taken by a GPU Design Engineer so he didn't aske me any questions on timing analysis which I was expecting to be asked considering the fact that I was interviewing for ASIC designing position.

Interviewed Dec 2011 in Santa Clara, CA (took 5 weeks)
Applied via one of NVIDIA's research partners (I've sent my CV after my internship with recommendation letter from my mentor). Within 2 weeks they scheduled a phone interview with some manager who was very, very easy going person. I was given a "homework" - a simple assignment in C to do within 2 days. Just after they received my solution my second interview was scheduled (next week). This time I came across an even nicer person, a guy who had his interns last year and got hired after that. I was asked some technical questions, really easy ones and we spoke much about my project (he even ofered some help with that!). I'm so excited I got hired, because guys at NVIDIA seem to be very clever, yet easy going and friendly.
Interview Questions
int foo(int a) {
int result = 0;
while (a >>= 1)
result += 1
return result
}
And my task was to say what's wrong with this function, what's its purpose and what would I write my colleague who submitted it for a code review

Interviewed Dec 2010 in Bangalore (India) (took a day)
Company came on campus and test was taken to check analytical skills and concepts of digital hardware and programming. Then i was shortlisted for interview. I had only a technical interview which lasted only 5 mins. I felt they only ensured that the candidate has potential and will be ready to blend into the work culture. Hence its important to establish a rapport wih the interviewer.
