The interview consisted of 2 phone interviews as I was unable to attend a 1:1 (was in a different country). I applied via their website and received an email a few weeks later, which gave a day & time for the first interview. My first interview was with the Director of Engineering and the questions were mainly based on my CV and technical experience.
Strangely, the second interview was with an HR lady who asked me generic "Why did you apply for this job" type questions. Normally I'd expect this type of interview first.
I received a phone call a few weeks later and was told I got the job.

It was for the graduation internship. There was background check first, then asked me about my opinion with the topic. The interviewer focused on my knowledge that required for the project. He was satisfied that I had engineering background in semiconductor design work. After 1 hour talk, I was introduced to the product line managers for specific task. They briefed to me their product, organizational structure and their expectation out of the exercise. It took another 1 hour. Lastly, I met with the director in the department. He only talked about general topics like strength and weakness. In a word, chat and personality talk
