Interviewed Nov 2011 in New York, NY (took a day)
Horrible HR and horrible company. I interviewed with them twice. The people are sub-par as well as the firm. The minute you walk into their offices you will understand what I mean. The place is old, people working these seem depressed but full of themselves at the same time. I have had a lot of interactions with i-bankers who are full of themselves, these guys are even worse. Why?? Its a job that will severely limit your exit option.
oh did I mention that you should forget getting compensated for your expenses?

Interviewed Feb 2011 in New York, NY (took 4 weeks)
On campus recruiting at a target school. Different groups within NYSE Euronext will then contact you for separate interviews after the initial interview on campus. The initial interview is purely fit, but depending on which groups you interview with after, you may get technical questions. Knowledge of NYSE's "merger" with Deutsche Borse is necessary.

Interviewed Apr 2010 in New York, NY (took a day)
It was a basic interview where two young college grads met with you and discussed the options at NYSE Euronext and they asked a few technical questions. Then they inform you they have nothing to do with the hiring process, but they just were there to collect resumes. The managers would look at the resumes and contact you if interested.

Interviewed Apr 2008 (took 2 days)
They scheduled a phone interview, because I was living abroad. The first interview was about 1 hour of extremely technical questions, all about C++, systems design and architecture.
After 1 weeks, they call me again, but for only 20 minutes, basically same questions, but more focused in specific technologic points that the company uses.
After 1 month, they send me an offer, which I accepted after visiting the company in person.
