Send Answer Interview Answer 1 Answer ▲ 0 ▼ Because I worked in a highly tourist economy, I dealt with many customers form around the world, of different nationalities, and with that came many who did not speak English. One particular encounter I had was with a very friendly woman from France who was very interested in our merchandise, but did not speak any English at all, and I no French. I was able to make out that she wanted more than one item for her children of different sizes, but we did not know the right words to communicate which sizes in particular. Quickly I looked up the words to translate sizes from English to French on my phone, and we figured it out from there.
