Name a time when you had to deal with a difficult customer

I first explained my situation (I had a difficult irate customer at my previous job). I told them that I apologized no matter who was at fault, and continued to give the best customer service no matter what. I told them that after I tried solving the problem on my own to no avail, I had to get management and let them handle the situation.
