Interviewed Oct 2011 in Houston, TX (took a day)
Initial call from HR dept. to schedule live interview. First scheduled date was changed due to scheduling conflict. Eventually, had very casual interview with hiring manager. Discussed both our backgrounds. Discusses tools & technology used in position. Reviewed my previous work. Then standard "what would you do..." & "describe a situation where..."-type questions. No stress & low pressure session.

Interviewed Nov 2011 in Edmonton, AB (Canada) (took a day)
It was a behavioral based interview. The guy taking the interview was very rude and was thinking of himself as a big shot. His behavior was degrading. Although I did not get the job offer but even if they did give me the job offer I would'nt have accepted it.

Interviewed Sep 2011 in Houston, TX (took a day)
The interview consists of two part. Each of them is 30min. In the first part, they ask some questions, most of them are behavioral questions, for example, what is the difference between leadership and management. The second part is easier, mainly talking about your personality, hobbies, etc.

Interviewed Nov 2011 in Houston, TX (took a day)
Tons of candidates, from all across the country, all with different academic disciplines. We had a social the night before, then broke off into smaller groups for dinner. Had fun, make sure to talk and make yourself known. Next day had a benefits presentation then two one on one interviews, be on your toes the questions can get technical.

Interviewed Nov 2011 in Houston, TX (took 7 weeks)
I gave them my resume at the career fair and also went to their info session at my school the night before my interview. The people are really nice and the GPA requirement isn't too high (2.7 GPA). The first interview was very conversational and laid back. The interviewer was fairly laid back and remembered me from the info session. The second interview process began with them flying me out to Houston. The night before, they took us out to dinner. The following day we ate breakfast, listened to the CEO for about 15 minutes, listened to a REALLY boring presentation about the benefits, etc. and had 2 interviews. After the interviews, there was lunch and a tour of a couple of their facilities (pretty interesting). Later that night there was another dinner. If you miss both of the dinners or even one of them, don't panic. The thing that matters most are the interviews so just do very well on those. The interviews are similar to the first one (very conversational). Overall, the interview process what fairly easy.

Reason for Declining
I had other offers that were a little higher and the office environment seemed a little boring. Everyone was sitting at their desk NOT talking to anyone else. If this wasn't the case, there were hardly any people at the desk on a WEDNESDAY....! The office was really quiet (it was weird actually). The people were nice though.

Company is a subsidiary of NOV. Initial communication with the company was good. Planning of interview was poor. Always be ready for written technical test. I guess I was not prepared

Interviewed Oct 2011 in Houston, TX (took 2 weeks)
on-campus interviewed with two group of interviewers. I received a call from one of my interviewers on the next day and invited me to an office visit. At the office visit, I had five 30 minutes 1-1 interviews. All the interviewers are VP. All the people from NOV are very friendly and nice. I didn't get the offer at the end, but it is really a great company.

Interviewed Apr 2011 in Houston, TX (took 2 days)
The interview process was very relaxed and actually very fun. We met for cocktails at the hotel. This is a good opportunity to show your personality. You don't have to drink if you don't want to of course. Afterwards we went out to dinner with a couple of current employees and this allows you to ask questions that you may have about the process or company.

Interviewed Oct 2011 (took 5 days)
They sent me a test online to take first. Then I had a phone interview. I then had a group interview with four people. I also had to take a skills tell on the date of the interview. The interview went well and then I was given a tour of the facility and was offered a job on the spot.
