Accepted Offer – Interviewed in Washington, DC Feb 2011 – Reviewed Aug 2, 2011
Interview Details – I applied though my school's career site and got an interview. The interview consisted of behavioral questions only (no case) and I really enjoyed it. My interviewer was really funny and it felt more like a conversation. We talked about my resume, why I am interested in litigation consulting, how my previous experiences would help me excel, etc. He seemed like he was very prepared and responsible, and yet laid back.
Interview Question – What do you know about litigation consulting and why would you want to work in the field? Answer Question
Negotiation Details – I was not able to negotiate.
Accepted Offer – Interviewed in New York, NY Jun 2010 – Reviewed Sep 1, 2010
Interview Details – A recruiter from the main Chicago office called me for the first interview and then I had a second phone interview with an MD because I had just come home from college and couldn't afford to make another trip just for an on site interview (they don't pay for flying into interview interns). It was a very pleasant conversation both times and they asked a lot of fit questions and were very nice and timely with responses.
Interview Question – Why do you think you didn't do well in the classes you had lower grades in? Answer Question
Accepted Offer – Reviewed Sep 14, 2012
Interview Details – Simple and very straight forward--just a networking session the night before which provides a great opportunity to get to know the people you will be interviewing with. Then the interview is strictly behavioral, mainly with the person asking questions about your resume. I was very surprised that there wasn't a case interview. Only one round before I was called the next day with an offer.
Interview Question – Asking a specific question about my resume and how my experience at that firm gave me skills that are applicable to Navigant. Answer Question
