Initially, had a quick phone interview with HR. Nice and friendly. Then, we set up a 1:1 interview with the head of the department. Very professional and concise. I was immediately told I didn't have enough experience, but might be considered for another position. I got a call back a few weeks later, and the person interviewing me was the woman who got the job that I first interviewed for. Standard generic questions about experience. I wasn't given an offer, although I have several years experience with NM as a contract worker doing the same job. Later, I found out that someone who has "friends within the company," but no experience got the position.
