Interviewed Jan 2012 (took 4 months)
I was interviewed as part of a MBA career conference. First, I was screened by a recruiting firm, then I met with two Brand Managers at the conference. I made it past that point and was asked to fly to their offices for final round interviews. Onsite, I had three 1-on-1 interviews with different Brand Managers and Executives.

Interviewed Dec 2011 (took 4+ weeks)
The last interview I had was was with the hiring manager and the CFO and of course initially with HR. I was well liked and they said that they had to find a place for me, but I wasn't strong enough in accounting in their opinion. It was for a VP position so it is hard for me to believe I would need that much accounting especially having 23 years of accounting and finance experience I should have got the job. They still haven't found the right fit. I think they have budget constraints.

Interviewed Nov 2011 in Jackson, MS (took 2 days)
I interviewed with Nestle today and although I am highly intereseted in the position, I have a couple of questions. First, I understand that this is a salaried job and I responsible for building and maintaining relationships with walmart. Also, I am to set up displays and pull nestle product of out backstock room and onto the floors. So, what happens if I do not necessarily build a great relationship with the manager, although I have tried? Is the pay every two weeks? monthly? Also, how does the bonus work? Do you have to meet any criteria to receive bonuses up to $6000? I need some guidance. I hope someone can answer my questions. Thanks

Interviewed Sep 2011 in Oakland, CA (took a day)
I was interviewed during a phone screen. Then I had to fill out an on-line application. Then I spent the greater part of a day interviewing, one on one with 4 different people. I interviewed with the HR manager, the direct supervisor, someone in another department and a person who had the same position I was interview for. 85 % of the questions were asking me to give examples or situational scenarios.

Interviewed Aug 2011 in Glendale, CA (took a day)
Phone interview was conducted by Nestle's HR Recruiter and consisted of:
1. The recruiter was focusing on my resume and she made me discussed my work experience from my very first employment up to the present (more than 15 years experience)
2. She was trying to figure out how my experience will fit into the job description of Nestle's Financial Analyst position
3. After I convinced her that I'm qualified because of my accounting degree and progressive accounting background, she recommended me to the next step which is supposed to be an interview with the Hiring Manager
4. However, the Hiring Manager said that I did not have significant experience in financial analysis, so she would not recommend moving forward

Interviewed Jun 2011 (took a day)
The company has an on-line application process that requires initiative from the job seeker. Follow up involves phone interviews and finally on site interviews. The company seems well focused on respect for people and the individual job seeker, keeping with their corporate philosophies. Folks at the headquarters seemed genuinely happy to be there from the receptionists to the vice presidents. The management team was well focused on the skills and expectations for the position and there appears to be good inter division communication within the group despite huge responsibilities. I believe they would be a great company to work for.

Interviewed Mar 2011 (took 2 months)
I was first contacted from a recruiter expressing interest in me, then I arranged a phone interview. That was basically behavioral questions, like tell me about a time you had to deal with a difficult team member. Three weeks later I was notified that i was moving to the final rounds of interviews in Oakland. They paid for the ticket and hotel. While we were there, there was a networking reception and the following morning was three interviews, one 2 on 1 interview and two 1 on 1 interviews, for 30 minutes, all following each other. The questions again, were behavioral. And they were very interested in what you knew about Nestle and why you wanted to work there. Two weeks later they called me back letting me know I did not get the job.

Interviewed Jan 2011 (took 4+ weeks)
I was contacted by a Nestle HR Recruter, The initial phone call consisted of the recruiter talking about the position for about and hour. Then the recruiter proceded to change the format of the resume. Then you get asked to describe your experience. Then you re submitt your resume wiht the changes. (very odd if you ask me). Then a week later received a phone call saying I was invited for the interview. The recruiter called before the day of the interview to prep and coach you (which is soo odd becuase this is an HR recruiter from inside Nestle) Then I was informed the interview was going to take 6 hrs!! I met with 6 people and i even had breaks in between, they all asked the same questions. Everyone was nice but they didnt seem they were allin accord with what they wanted. they made everyone wait 3 weeks for a response only to let you know they had gone with internal employee.
