Interviewed Mar 2010 (took 2 days)
Very positive experience. Everyone seemed to love Nestle. Interview consisted of one interview on campus and then a series of 3 interviews at headquarters. They put you in the hilton right across the street and I strongly suggest staying around for the afterwards dinner they offer you it was amazing. Overall it was a fantastic experience.

Reason for Declining
Personal Reasons. The people were great and I really wanted the offer but was extended one I couldn't pass up elsewhere. If you are remotely interested I encourage you to apply, great company. If I had no other offers I would have taken this one.
Other Details
The interview consisted of a 1:1 Interview, a Group/Panel Interview, a Drug Test and a Background Check.

Interviewed Jan 2009 in Solo, MO (took a day)
Worked through recruiter. Professional on site, behavioral interviews, tour, lunch. Travel was covered and much of it was direct billed. Associates were receptive. Process was fast, and management team was seasoned. Was given a few what-if scenarios, but most of focus was on typical, targeted selection interviews. After off, background check and drug screen was completed.

Interviewed Mar 2010 in Cincinnati, OH (took 3 weeks)
I was interviewed by two recruiters who were very friendly and wanted to get a feel for your background, what you can bring to the company, and what your career goals are. Expressed interest in the position and the type of work and made it to the second interview. This was after I was given the opportunity to shadow an employee for a day to get a feel for the job and atmosphere. The second interview was with an executive from cleveland and he was less friendly. wanted me to do most of the talking. questions were very open ended and not very leading. you had to know what he wanted to hear. I was contacted by HR in california to tell me I didn't get the position but it was because they didn't think I was the right fit.

Interviewed Feb 2010 (took a day)
Asked pretty standard behavioral interview questions. Toughest question: Identify a time at your most recent job where you saw a problem and came up with a solution without being told to do so.

Interviewed Feb 2009 in Florham Park, NJ (took a day)
contacted through an executive recruiter, did not do phone interview, when straight to in-person on-site. met with 7 different people, a half hour each. no breaks in between. spectrum of people, from friendly, to downright terse. the VP of marketing was at that latter end of the spectrum. Questions probed alot on analytical skills (I had about 4 of ask me the same question about the forecasting experience I had listed on my resume, in great detail). Questions also tried to drill down as far as they could into every little detail.

Interviewed Jul 2009 (took 3 months)
What a joke. Contacted for an interview and did exceptionally well. They told me they would have a result in the next couple of days. A week went by and nothing. Finally sent an e-mail to HR and they responded a week later that they had found someone else. They contacted me for another senior sales job and scheduled a phone interview. I called in and the HR manager "forgot" and did not have time for me. They scheduled another interview, but failed to give me any details. Ended up interviewing with another HR manager over the phone. She said she would contact me with the outcome the following week - an e-mail for a pass or a phone call to proceed with round 2...and geuss what...nothing! No call, no e-mail, no nothing. I would never work for this company even if they begged me to. I have never dealt with an HR department that was this unprofessional.
