Interviewed Feb 2009 (took 2 days)
I first had an interview at my school and was selected the next day for a second round interview. I was sent to LA where everything was paid by them. From the moment I got there I was treated really well. Everyone working at Nestle was really nice and when I ended up not getting the job I was really upset since they are really a great company.

Make it more realistic by asking a question which could pop up in a persons life. If you could buy any brick in a wall, such as for a charity event, and put your name on it, which would you pick and why?
These type of nonsensical questions are supposed to help an interviewer gauge and understand the thinking pattern of an interviewee. Often times, it's a childish attempt to make an interviewee uncomfortable in order to demonstrate the power of the interviewer. If you need to demonstrate power or knowledge, then do it in an honest and straight forward fashion.
Otherwise, ask a stupid question like "Do you like my shirt, and why?"

A few points to note:
- Do you want to be at the top of the wall? (Are you ambitious in your career?)
- Do you want to be at the bottom? (Do you consider yourself to be a significant support to the team... can you carry around a lot of weight and responsibility?)
- Do you want to be at eye-level? (Do you want to be seen and recognized by your peers and superiors?)
There are certainly a lot of other thoughts... what does it mean to be in the middle of the wall? On a corner? How would you feel if you had to be an end brick, where the brick has to be cut short to make the end of the wall flush?

by Cory Suter:
- The first brick layed at the corner of a wall determines the position of every other brick in that wall.
- One brick laid with too large of a head joint, or not being level or plumb can effect rows of brick beside and above it.
- A soldier course of brick provides visual interest to an otherwise monotonous wall.
-Bricks are made of natural clay fired in a kiln; close up each brick has a slightly different design , texture, shape, and color patterns, though all have almost exactly the same basic dimensions, though these can also vary.
The keystone, or last brick placed in an arch helps support all the weight above the arch (which equally distributes that weight to the ground). Every brick in the arch shares the load equally.
- I invite other masons to post further food for thought.
