    onsite!

the interviewers are all really kind. Mainly using C++, because it's what their software engineers used. Two technical interview + manager's behavioral interview + 2 technical interview. It's a long and tiring process. They provided pizza and some soft drink for lunch. Sadly, I didn't make it :(.

Questions contain some programing problems and some concepts of handling concurrency!

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 5 daysinterviewed at NetApp in October 2013.

    Interview Details

Asked to write a program to solve a moderately difficult problem. It took 15-30 min to write the code on the laptop provided with an Eclipse environment. Reviewed code with the interviewer. I had just time to finish, but the review went fine. Then met individually with four members of the team. All asked technical questions. Each from a different area. Two asked Java questions. One asked SQL questions. And one asked system design questions.

    Interview Questions
    • Most of the questioners had written questions, but one did not. I had some difficulty understanding what was being asked. Confused queue with stack -- brain cramp.   Answer Question

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at NetApp in September 2013.

    Interview Details

Responded to a recruiter's e-mail to the local Linux User's Group, 15 minute phone screen with the recruiter followed by a 1 hour in-person interview with manager and 3 senior team members, followed by a full tour and introductions by the hiring manager. Background check was a fiasco, as the background company reported that I did not graduate high school without contacting anyone for more information. Ultimate this was resolve by threat of lawsuit against the KnowX LLC, the background check company.
