I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at NetApp (Sunnyvale, CA)
Interview
I got the interview through a career fair on campus. I was flown up to their headquarters where they had a whole interview day planned. About 30 candidates attended.
It started out with a presentation about the company. Then there where three 45 minutes long interviews back to back. Almost all questions were behavioral. Everyone was very friendly and the company culture seems laid back and fun. Typical Silicon Valley company.

Question 1
Nothing too unexpected, except for that there were basically almost no technical questions.
The process took 2 months. I interviewed at NetApp
Interview
Went through 5 rounds only to be told that the role was being eliminated because they wanted someone with more experience. I wouldn't waste my time going through the interview process because it seems that things like this happen often based on the reviews here. It's disappointing because the interviewers themselves seemed like great people, but NetApp's internal processes and its leadership are lacking.
The interview process was seamless, crisp and insightful. The interview was technical in its core and the interviewer was interested to listen to your questions and answered them honestly. And they were receptive of feedback you had as well.

I applied online. I interviewed at NetApp (San Jose, CA)
Interview
The people at NetApp were friendly and professional, but the interview process for the role was too lengthy and disorganized. Multiple interviews made the process feel unnecessarily cumbersome. Clearer communication and a more streamlined approach would enhance the candidate experience.
