Accepted Offer – Interviewed in Austin, TX Nov 2011 – Reviewed Dec 6, 2012
Interview Details – Impressed with the detail put into the interview process itself. During the about 3-hour series of interviews, I had a good time. I felt like we chatted more than interviewed, but the Directors I interviewed with were looking for very specific information from me that (I assume) they got. People there are very friendly, fun, and "real" people. It's very refreshing for a company.
Interview Question – I don't remember any questions that were difficult. Answer Question
Negotiation Details – No negotiation accepted, it seemed. That's not really my strong point though when offered a position.
No Offer – Interviewed in Austin, TX Jun 2011 – Reviewed Dec 27, 2011
Interview Details – Got email to schedule phone interview. Phone interview was mostly spent with interviewer talking about the company, She then advised me NetSpend does criminal (including speeding tickets), drug screen and credit history. If you've ever had any charge offs on your credit history or, have more than $4,000 in debt on your credit history (including any college loans), they will not continue process and will not hire you. They will end process.

Interview Details –
I was contacted by an internal recruiter a few days after applying online. We spoke for 30 minutes via telephone and she expressed an interest in my continuing along in the process with a second phone conversation with the hiring manager, which was schedule for the following week.
One day prior to my scheduled phone interview the recruiter sent me an email stating that the hiring manager had found more candidates who were local to the area so he wanted to speak with them first. Very unprofessional experience and left the impression that NetSpend is a cheap company looking to save a buck. Pathetic!
Interview Question – Basic phone pre-screen related to position reqs. Answer Question
No Offer – Interviewed in Austin, TX Aug 2011 – Reviewed Aug 23, 2011
Interview Details – I was contacted by a recruiter for an interview. The HR person was very kind and polite. She asked prequalifying questions about experience and education. Then I had a telephone interview with a supervisor and that lasted about half an hour. After a week or two I was extended an invite to interview on-site for the position. The interview lasted an entire day. I went on a ride along which provided insight as to what the day to day duties would be. Then I had individual interviews with 8 folks and a panel interview. No behavioral questions were asked. Really they just want to get to know you and see if you would be a fit. Great culture...very laid back and casual. Although I was not offered the position for Bilingual Area Sales Manager, the candidate offered this position is very luck-) Best of luck!

No Offer – Interviewed in Austin, TX Aug 2008 – Reviewed Jun 24, 2010
Interview Details – Initial phone interview was with recruiter who asked very basic questions about resume. On actual interview day, I sat in a waiting room with 3 other applicants who were waiting to interview for the same position. I interviewed first with the man who would be my potential supervisor. He asked detailed technical questions as well as personality questions. Then I met with a group of potential coworkers and management who asked work ethic/ personality questions. I found the group interview very intimidating.
Interview Question – Specific database query questions. Answer Question
Declined Offer – Interviewed in Sep 2011 – Reviewed Jul 4, 2012
Interview Details – The interview process consisted of several phone interviews including the hiring manager and internal recruiters followed by a half day face to face which consisted of 4 separate one on one interviews. I liked everyone I met with and have alot of professional respect for the company, their products and reputation.
Interview Question – none Answer Question
Reason for Declining – The salary was too low - not industry competitive for my level of experience.
Pros: Great people, in the heart of downtown Austin location with great city views, nice benefit options, challenging work, innovative culture – Full Review `
