Budget Analyst Interview (Neutral Experience)

Interview Details – Three rounds of interview. If you know excel like the back of your hand, you will do fine.
Interview Question – Some nit and grit questions like if you were to analyze a trend, how would you go about it. Just say put it in excel and graph it. They aren't looking for any out of the box answers. They want their answer. Answer Question
Negotiation Details – There was no negotiation. It was set.
Project Consultant Interview (Positive Experience; Average Interview)
I applied through a staffing agency and the process took 1+ week - interviewed at New York City Housing Authority in February 2013.
Interview Details – One phone interview and one face-to-face interview. Phone interview approximately 40 minutes; face-to-face less than 30 minutes. Phone interview is basically a detailed review of resume with clarification of past job responsibilities, with particular emphasis on the nature of past project management accomplishments. Face-to-face interview involved a 10 minute overview of open position and job requirements and 15 minutes of questions that sought to determine if candidate's experience matches the experience sought for the open position, e.g. "What experience have you had with working with board members, upper management and other high level stakeholders?"
Interview Question – Describe an experience in which the political aspects of a problem ran counter to policy or leadership goals and how did you handle it? Answer Question
Negotiation Details – No negotiation
Community Coordinator Interview (Positive Experience; Average Interview)
I applied through a recruiter and the process took 2 weeks - interviewed at New York City Housing Authority.
Interview Details – this process was very long i had to wait two weeks, drug test
