Medical interview is easy to pass. Be jn shape. The psychological interview is the hardest because there is a psychologist that asks series of questions based on the multiple choice test that is based on your own judgement. If they see somethjng that unusual in their eyes, they will ask why.

I interviewed online. The process took 12 months - interviewed at New York Police Department in January 2013.

It is a long process... First the test... Which takes about 4 hrs very easy....Then interview... You sit with police communication techs and you learn more about the position... Fairly easy... You just fill out a lot of paperwork takes all day....If you pass then you go for your medical and psych exam which is like 5 am in the morning and lasts all day... Very difficult you take a personality test, drug test, vision test, hearing test, and psych exam all in one day. No eating there so it a huge breakfast! Then when you pass... You are assigned an investigator and have an interview where you must complete online paperwork prior to going and paperwork while you are there. Which can take hours.... Or more than one day... If you are hired your investigator will call you. For me it took about 2 years but the process is much faster now. Once you are hired you must be sworn in and then you start training. A test of more.... Every day for 6 weeks very hard.... But worth it....

It was a huge differences between the hiring process and the interview. First you have to pass the police exam, wait to be called to see if you qualified, than you have to go meet with and investigator, you have oral, written, physical test, psychology text and all your paper work have to be in order.

The hiring practices at a number of Police are somewhat legendary. The recruiting process at Police, for example, often entails answering a number of extremely challenging technical questions and perhaps a few brain teasers. But Police is one department who seems to do a decent job of keeping its hiring and recruiting practices under the radar.

Referred from the manager of the job interested in. The interviewers were three high ranking supervisors. I was asked to describe why i felt i was the best person for this position. My arrest and sick record were reviewed and questioned. If your sick record is excessive be ready to explain reason why, such as unexpected illnesses.
