Interviewed Nov 2011 in Orangeburg, NY (took 3+ months)
Pretty standard in the beginning. Had a phone interview with the HR, was invited for a personal interview and met several people, including the hiring manager. Came back for a second round with senior management including SEO.
I thought many of the people I met were great, but the company as a whole looks like a mess and not a nice environment to work in. People's offices (with the exception of CEO) are unattractive, cluttered, and lack any personality. The CEO's office, on the other hand, looks more like an apartment (yes, there is a sort of a kitchenette!) and he admitted he was spending way too much time there. Employees do not have name plates on their doors. Overall, looks like a pretty impersonal kind of place where employees are just "numbers" and are treated as such. Also comes across as a high-pressure environment with little attention paid to people and their needs. I had a 5-hour interview in one day with several different people and was not even offered a glass of water, let alone lunch. During lunch time, I saw brown bags delivered into the office - it looks like employees do not get a chance to get out, even during their lunch breaks. During interviews, it was mentioned to me by several people that employees are provided with a laptop and are expected to answer emails and perform work after hours and on weekends.
In the end, I received an offer and the money looked pretty good, but I was really turned off by all the red flags. They got really aggressive and expected me to accept the offer immediately, not allowing even the usual couple of days to think it over. That seemed pretty strange. If you are confident your offer is solid and you are a great organization, why push the person with their decision as if you were selling used cars?

Reason for Declining
In the long term, this does not look like a good company to work for. I do not want to be treated every day the way I was treated during the interviewing process and the offer extension stage. The difference in money is not worth the premature grey hair I would probably get from working there!
Other Details
The interview consisted of a Phone Interview, a 1:1 Interview and a Personality Test.

Interviewed Feb 2010 in Orangeburg, NY (took 5 days)
I started off with a phone interview. The initial interviewer gave me the most difficult interview of my life! He was courteous, well spoken and seemd like a decent guy. But he will start out with a simple question then dig deeper and then dig deeper and the dig even more deep. If you don't have your act together you won't make it through the interview.
Luckily, I made it past the first phone interview. In my opinion the company believes in this guys interviewing skills so muc,h I bypassed the phone interview with the hiring manager and went straight in for the face to face interviews. I met with the typical people, the hiring manager, his boss, other people I might be working with. The interviews were pretty straight forward and overall pretty easy.
Then I went to lunch with the above mentioned interviewer. Again, he was a decent guy, well, spoken and easy to get along with. But this guy has the eye of God. He can see through your soul! The lunch interview started off well but then he asked me a question that I wasn't prepared for (I should have been prepared but wasn't) and he had me. He started digging deeper and deeper and I knew that I didn't get the job.
I have no ill will against this guy, in fact he'd be a great guy to go have a beer with. But I want the reviewers of this post to know if you are going to interview with this guy (I can't mention his name but you will definitely know you are interviewing with him) be prepared. Prepare and then prepare some more because he is the best interviewer I have ever interviewed with. Hats off to him because he has a gift.
