Trainee Recruitment COnsultant Interview
I applied online. The process took 2 days – interviewed at Nigel Frank International in March 2013.
I was contacted by Nigel Frank shortly after submitting my resume through Career Builder. The initial phone interview was 20 mins long. I was asked to come in for a face to face interview the next day. I met with two managers who seemed very passionate about their job and excited to meet with me. They ask a lot of detailed questions about hard work and past success. I was not asked to return for a final interview, but it was a great learning experience. I was given constructive feedback from the recruiter on how to improve my interviewing skills for future opportunities. It is definitely a great company and opportunity for those who do get the position. I have referred a few friends and wish them luck!

Got a call about 2 weeks after i had applied, had a 20 minute phone interview there and then and then was asked to come for an interview that week.
Interview lasted 2 hours, consisted of one on one, two on one then back to one on one! The interviewee was horribly arrogant and rude, by the end of the two hours i was so put off working there...not because of the long hours/effort required but because he was so narrow minded of how a sales person should be i don't think there is any way i could have worked under him.
I was asked numerous questions, to which my answer was always reciprocated with "Why?" "When did you do that?" "When did that happen" etc, after 2 hours it was more of an interrogation than a good interview technique. Dont think he smiled once or showed an ounce of being human either which was offputting.
Saying this, it wasn't at all a hard interview, pretty straight forward and standard questions for the main part, i don't even think I gave poor answers. The fault was simply in the personality of the person conducting it.
I was told however that he just wasnt quite sure my personality was right and that i was maybe holding something back...but after 2 hours being in the same room as him i wasn't surprised i'd lost all enthusiasm for the position!
Anyway, good luck! Im sure it is a good company to work for if you're around great colleagues. No OfferNegative ExperienceEasy Interview
