Applied online. HR called me a couple of days later for a phone interview. Then I was called in for a 1:1 interview with HR. Next, I have an interview with the department manager of Men's shoes (tomorrow).

Interview questions:
1. Why do you want to work for Nordstrom?
2. Tell me of a time when you went above and beyond for a customer?
3. How do you prioritize your goals?
4. Tell me of a time when you were forced to deal with something challenging at work.

Negotiation Details

Make certain you're getting enough hours, and how long they plan to keep you on (if you're seasonal). Also, be sure you understand their commission.

Dress professional. I wore suit and tie and polished shoes.

I Applied Online and the interview consisted of a Phone Interview, a 1:1 Interview and a Personality Test.

Interviewed Jun 2010 in Portland, OR (took 2 weeks)

First was an email asking to call the HR at the Headquarter, the call was to set up a phone interview which lasted about 30min. The next day I got an email asking to fill up some information for a background check prior to in person interview. The next week I got an 1:1 interview with the Regional Manager (which by the way was dressed too casually with messy hair). All of the questions are behavioral.
