Interviewed Sep 2009 in Bangalore (India) (took a day)
Starts with a phone call : Purpose to check on communication skills and to fix up appointment for face to face interview at the Northerns office in Banglore.
A Group discussion to check on communication and assertion skills.
topic : effects of globalization
Group Discussion is followed by an Aptitude test with 3 sections ( mathematics , english , logic & Reasoning) very easy/ Basic level test : 60 questions Time given : 90 Minutes. no negative marking.
After the test was interview by the recruiting manager asked some basic questions after a rundown of CV.
Q 1: what are diff types of Options.
Q 2 : when will a person excercise Euro call Option.
Q3 : what is a Mutual fund.
Thats it . No chance to negotiate salary or anything.. you are called by HR to a room and given an offer letter. If you like it you can take it or leave it.

Interviewed Aug 2011 in Chicago, IL (took a day)
HR called me and set up an interview the next week. I was suppose to meet up with three managers but they had an emergency at the department and I ended up meeting the Head department. The manager explained the position and asked me the usual questions (situational Q), I wasn't asked any technical Finance/Accounting Q's. I finished the interview in 30 minutes which I thought was too short but to be honest there was nothing more to say. I wasn't asked a lot of the silly questions where they tell you "tell us about a situation where you disagreed with a boss or when you used your creativity and the like!!"
Interview Questions
Negotiation Details
It is an entry level position and they offered me the max in the range so I didn't care to negotiate because I know it is fixed and I was satisfied.
Other Details
I got the interview through an Employee Referral and the interview consisted of a 1:1 Interview.
