Interview Details – The whole process took a few weeks, with 2 full days dedicated to meeting all members of the team. It was pretty grueling, but understandable, and you feel like an Olympian after going through the motions and receiving an offer. The work culture was great - people friendly and dedicated to helping others and providing the best services to clients and prospects.
Interview Question – Even though I wasn't applying for a sales position, I was asked to give a sales pitch for a product offered by a previous employer. Answer Question
Negotiation Details – Maybe I was having a great day - the negotiation phase went very well. They were willing to pay for what they were getting - my brains - which was certainly a nice change. The best initial offer I had ever received, and I asked for more, which they gave me.
Accepted Offer – Interviewed in Chicago, IL – Reviewed Feb 25, 2013
Interview Details – I applied for one position and got a call to interview for another one (the operations analyst). The initial interview was with 3 people; the department manager (Sr VP), Manager (VP) and an HR rep. Nothing special to report, the manager seemed a little put off that she had to conduct an interview, but fairly standard. Told me I would have a second interview in 2 weeks and that they'd be in-touch. For a month I didn't hear a word back from anyone, even after I sent follow up emails, but they finally called and told me I got the position and that no second interview was required.
Interview Question – "If you could do anything you wanted to for the rest of you life what would it be? And don't BS me." Answer Question
Negotiation Details – I didn't attempt to negociate, from what I head from others who started with me there was not wiggle room around the salary.

Declined Offer – Interviewed in Chicago, IL Nov 2012 – Reviewed Nov 29, 2012
Interview Details – I applied via the campus recruiting website and received an email to set up a phone interview about a week or two later. The phone interview was with an HR rep and lasted approximately 30 minutes long. They asked me background questions about my resume and then several behavioral questions. I was contacted to attend the superday in the Chicago office the next day, which consisted of four 30 minute interviews with several members of the Pension Fund Accounting team. Everyone was relatively friendly and the questions were all fit and behavioral, absolutely no technical. However, my friend who interviewed for the AIA team was asked a few technical questions. They contacted me roughly two weeks later with an offer. Overall positive experience.

Reason for Declining – I received a competing offer which trumped this offer.
Accepted Offer – Interviewed in Chicago, IL Jan 2010 – Reviewed Oct 3, 2012
Interview Details – Process was incredibly heavy handed - I had 15 interviews over the course of 4 months - it was brutal with medium communication during the process. Even had a couple of times where the interviewer forgot (employee has since left the bank). The HR department was nice but due to the desire to reach consensus on the hire, it took forever.
Interview Question – Do not remember any difficult questions - only that there were so many interviews for a VP position. Answer Question
Negotiation Details – Negotiation? What negotiation?
