Interviewed Feb 2010 in El Segundo, CA (took a day)
Received email from HR to respond to email if interested in job. I did not actually apply to the job. I had spoken with an hiring manager at a career fair and believe through his referral, I was able to get an interview in the functional area that I wanted. However, I was disappointed that HR did not call me to schedule an interview but rather sent an email. I could have missed the email.
After interview was scheduled, I was told that 2 people would interview me (senior manager and junior employee). When I arrived for the interview, only the junior employee interviewed me. I was told that the senior manager was otherwise engaged in more urgent matters.
The interview was okay. Some questions were more challenging than others and I didn't adequately prepare to answer certain questions. After the interview, I contacted HR to know a brief time line of when I can expect to hear an answer. HR pushed me off for 2 weeks or so and I never heard back.

Interviewed Sep 2010 in Redondo Beach, CA (took 1+ week)
The process consisted off an online application. Which led to a phone interview. Since I was from it of state they flew me in for an interview. I met with a panel of department leads and human resources. I was taken to lunch by some typical Co-workers and given a tour of the facilities.

Negotiation Details
I gave a range of salary and they met that. It was relatively painless. I did have to specifically ask for more paid time off, which they agreed with. However, they took that time away when the company merged two sectors, etc.
Other Details

Interviewed Aug 2009 in Palmdale, CA (took 2 months)
Interest by HR and Management and I had 1 interview by Chief Engineer and 2 other managers.
They indicated in the Job Description on what they wanted. I was prepared for the specifics. But turned the tables indicating they where looking for other specific experiences. End of interview. Waited 3 weeks for a response. Not selected Wishing future endevers. Basically it was of waste of my time.
Management was not interested in lots of experience on what the requisition posted indicated.
Poor HR Skills in there office. Culture white only.

Interviewed Jul 2011 in Palmdale, CA (took a day)
Not really an interview, as they canceled at the last minute. Wasn't a big deal as far as the job was concerned, pretty sure I didn't want it anyhow, but I would have liked to interview to at least learn more about the position and present myself to the company. It was something really simple in my resume that should have been caught during screening but wasn't. Makes me think they just set up a mass interview, but who knows. They were at least nice about it.

Interviewed Dec 2008 in Redondo Beach, CA (took a day)
The interview consisted of a personality interview by the manager, followed by 1on1 technical with a engineer. They just asked resume questions, followed by basic C/C++/Java questions. They asked becuase it was the basic skillset of languages I listed on my resume.
They liked my honors/achievements in college and I was personally emailed by the hiring manager asking for my transcript. I got a email later saying I wasn't offered the position because my GPA was not high enough.

Northrop Grumman hosts 2-3 large job fairs every year. An alumni from my graduate program invited me to one of the job fairs. The job fair has many groups within the company looking for candidates to work on their projects so it is in your best interest to open many important looking people since impressing them lands you interviews. Beware of functional managers performing the interviews because you're likely going to be placed on a bad project where no one wants to work. If the team lead is not present at the interview, he or she is usually a jerk and no one wants to work for him or her. That is why the functional manager is performing the interview; the functional can seem nice but place you on a horrible project desperate for people because no one is willing to deal with the team lead. This happened to me.
