Accepted Offer – Interviewed in Phoenix, AZ – Reviewed Jan 24, 2013
Interview Details – Met at career fair in college and gave them a copy of my resume. Was called about a week later asking to come in for an initial interview. First interview was a group interview that had two employees and four potential interns. We were asked some basic resume description and background questions. We then were asked our strengths, weaknesses, and a moment of overcoming an obstacle in our lives. We were then asked to role play a sales scenario, we were given the option to work alone or together, we worked together. We pitched the fake item to them and they accepted our sales pitch. They closed off by allowing us a few questions. After that, about 1 week later, I was asked to come back for a second interview. This interview was 1:1, and consisted mostly of explaining what the job entailed, how the training and pay worked, and what I would have to do to be come licensed to sell life, health, and accident insurance, which is required for the job. Once they were done explaining, they asked if I was ok with everything they had said, and if I had any questions. Once I got my questions through, she asked if I would like to continue on to the third interview, if given the chance. I said yes, and was offered the third interview on the spot. I was then given a packet with instructions for presentation I had to create and present to 3 employees. I was given around two weeks to prepare. I presented and was offered job afterwards.
