Nothing asked during the interviews themselves was exceptionally difficult. The problems began once the offer was approved. The HR person saw fit to investigate a claim I had made about an earlier interview discussion even though by that point I had already accepted the verbal offer. Aside from being an unnecessary and insulting questioning of my integrity, this turn of events led to miscommunications which ultimately derailed the process and cost me the job.
