Interviewed Mar 2010 in Oerlikon (Switzerland) (took 3 months)
First was a general telephone interview with person currently in position. This was followed fairly quickly by a one-hour 1:2 interview in Denmark with the same person and the VP. Questions were mainly about the job and problems you might encounter. If you are experienced in the position, the questions are not difficult. After this, there was a personality test and then an hour's telephone discussion about the outcome of the test and going into further detail. Not everyone like this, but I quite enjoyed talking through strengths and weaknesses honestly. After this, there was a video interview with my potential manager with HR sitting in to mediate it. After that, there was a telephone interview with the SVP. I found the interview process too long and drawn out and was beginning to lose interest towards the end because I felt I'd said everything there was to say and it had gone on for months.

Interviewed Sep 2010 in Copenhagen (Denmark) (took 2 weeks)
Streamlined emplyoment process with testing and interviewing in straight forward settings. Tests and HR interview somewhat superficial, but management interview personal and involved. Salary negotiations rigid and with need for upper management endorsement. Benefits non-negotiable. I went throgh 2 personal interviews with 3 managers. Office conditions optimal, first-hand impression of work culture and colleagues very positive, with proudness and high level of competency.

Interviewed May 2011 (took 1 week)
The hiring manager admitted early on in the process that he had no experience in eMarketing but was given the job to hire two new eMarketing managers. His questions were not difficult and I did most of the talking. He seem very stressed out and was the only one working on a day most employees take off which gave me an impression of the department he was running. In the end I thought the interview went well and he said he would be in touch for a personality test. However I never once heard back from him or Novo Nordisk. You would think for such a large company they would have formal processes in place to let candidates know they are no longer being considered.

Interviewed May 2010 in Princeton, NJ (took 3 days)
I found the posting for this position on Craigslist of all places. I was contacted by Kelly Services (the staffing agency for contingent workers on-site at Novo Nordisk) and was asked to come in and complete a computer skills test (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook). After this, I had three 30 minute interviews scheduled with different people in the Marketing department - 1. a Senior Associate, 2. a Manager, and 3. a Senior Manager. The interview was mostly behavioral as well as questions regarding any relevant experience I had. Everyone was very nice, and the culture at this company is terrific.

Interviewed Feb 2011 in Princeton, NJ (took 2 weeks)
It was total waste of time. Manager discussed money with me at the first interview. Then they invited me for second interview - one would think they didn't have problem with what I asked for. But in the end they hired another guy because he asked for less money. I came twice for interviews. Both time it took me 2hrs round trip and 5 hrs to get interviewed by 5 people. Wasted two vacation days on that nonsense.
Except for 1 person on each of those days, people were the same. They uses some sort of script with the questions the went through. Most of the questions were the same, but rephrased. Most of the questions didn't really make much sense to me. On the second interview, though, some technical questons were asked. Some of them were straight from ActualTests or Pass4Sure script. The interviewer admitted that it took him two weeks to figure out answer to one of those questions and he was just wondering if I'd know it from the top of my head. Well... whatever.
Everybody was extremely nice. They stated it's a good place to work, but they didn't sound very convincing - like they were withholding some information not to scare me off. Was kind of weird.
On my way home after second interview from the manager, I was seriously wondering whether I want to work for him or not. I was sure they'd offer me a job, but I wasn't sure if I want to accept it. To my surprise, they decided to go with less experienced person who asked for less money, and that solved my dilemma. :-)
They do have free coffe/tea/soda and some junk-food snacks. 9% of 401K - is unheard of. Plus they closed for all danish holidays. Plus they closed for the whole week from Christmas to New Year and it doesn't come from your vacation days. Plus they close early on Fridays during summer. Overall, very nice company to work for. But I still think I would hate it to work for that guy. I didn't like him from the get go. I guess it was mutual.

Interviewed May 2011 in Princeton, NJ (took 4 weeks)
Series of phone conversations with the HR person (remote), email correspondence and in person interview (at the hiring mgr's office). The "in person" interview very formal 2 hrs total experience. No ice breaking conversation or warm introductions. Style of interview: onsite HR person present (added no value to conversation), just a warm body in the room/eye witness. Line of questions "Sterile/Clinical" in mannerism, couldn't decipher if answers were well received or not. Conversations flowed unilaterally. Answered Qs with specific examples of past experience to support stance. Interviewer provided no gestures of agreement or any receptiveness towards ideal candidate/fit with other team members. Appearence/manner cold and calculating. Key take aways, observe and mirror the interviewer's style/mannerism. Style of interview: tough line of questions thrown at you. Other members of interview panel seem to mirror mannerism/style after the (dept head). Couldn't decipher anything about the work culture. Minimal office artifacts on display... desk, chair, phone in the room and well lit corner office (lots of natural sunlight from exterior) walls enclosed glass.
