Interviewed Mar 2011 (took 1+ week)
The very first interview was with a 5 minute phone interview with an HR representative gauging interest and how I heard about the company.
A few days later I had a phone interview with two senior engineers heading the recruiting process in their department; answering basic questions about interest in the biotechnology department and clarifying what I would be doing as a intern if I was accepted.
Novozymes then flew me out for a 1 day tour and interview with 5 people (30 minutes each). The interviews were more behavioral/informative than technical - I talked a lot about what my interests were in the field and how I tried to shape my college education to accommodate. I learned a lot about the company and how they do things, and also saw the equipment/places I would be working in.

Interviewed Jan 2008 in Franklinton, NC (took 4+ weeks)
I had an initial phone screening with an HR rep. Then it was a series of on-site interviews with 4-6 different people. They identify the 5 most important characteristics they want in the job and then split the interview questions that relate to each characteristic between all the interviewers. So it is not the same interview 5 times in a row. I was asked to come back a second time for 2 more interviews. The interview styles of each interviewer were totally different. None of them were too rigorous though. Overall pretty nice people.

Negotiation Details
Don't expect them to offer much in terms of pay. They assume that their excellent benefits package and work/life balance outweighs the low salary.
Other Details
