Interviewed Nov 2011 in Montreal, QC (Canada) (took 1 week)
I've had 2 interviews:
- A 15 minute phone interview (with Montreal Human Resource Recruiter) to discuss possibilities with the company.
- A 1h30 in-person interview with the would-be colleague (including a full tour of the facilities in Montreal).
During my tour, I've seen people at work in their office (open-space office with nice furnishing and big windows). I've noticed that the office kitchen is equipped with:
- Free Coffee Machine
- Free Fruits Baskets
- Free Baggels
- Kitchen Appliances for light cooking of food.
There are also numerous conference rooms for impromptu team meetings, white-boards, books shelves stacked with books for all type of technical skills within the area of expertise of the firm (PHP, Java, .NET, Android, iPhone, Blackberry, etc.)

I got the interview through an Employee Referral and the interview consisted of a Phone Interview, a 1:1 Interview and a Group/Panel Interview.

The whole process of the interview is really informal. What I did is just sit down and talk to them about what I know about digital media. that's it.
