Interviewed Sep 2010 in Houston, TX (took 3 days)
My initial contact was as a walk in applicant in response to a Now Hiring sign. I was given an application even though I had a thorough prepared resume'. I was also asked to take the personality test immediately for consideration of my application to move forward. My first interview actually took place that same day with the store manager. Highly impressed, she cut our visit short due to "no need of more information" she was satisfied with my credentials and wanted to expedite the interview process to the other two managers. Upon my return for my second interview, the manager asked me about knowledge of technology. After I basically "spoke an unfamiliar language" as far as he was concerned, he set me to meet with the then Technology Sales Manager. Suffice it to say my knowledge even exceeded his so he shifted the interview to my sales ability in regard to the company's Product Protection Plans and Tech Services. My experience with that was also greater than he expected so I was offered the position. At that time, the store was not my idea of 'well organized' and the last so-called sales manager with whom I interviewed made candid derogatory comments about two of those who would become my future coworkers. As for my perceptions of those I had come in direct contact with, only the store's main manager gave me any impression of real competence.
Interview Questions
Negotiation Details
I did not negotiate as I was only seeking PT employment and had no intention of forming a career with OD. I did however request a pay rate representative of the skills and experience which I was able to bring to the table which was denied me. Under the circumstances at that time, it was a non-issue.
Other Details
I applied In-Person and the interview consisted of a 1:1 Interview, a Skills Test, a Personality Test, a Drug Test and a Background Check.

Interviewed Apr 2011 in Houston, TX (took 2 weeks)
I was contacted by senior recruiter via career builder.com. The recruiter was prompt in following up and was even surprised store management was taking too long to contact me for an interview. Once I was contacted I went to a store and the female store manager that interviewed me seemed to talk more about herself. When she'd ask a question and I'd answer she would right away tie it with her own accomplishments and store conflict scenerios, which is fine, but she didn't have to share HR was investigating at her store because employees complained about her. I never received a job offer or has there been follow up. I just feel that it wasn't a quality interview and had I had a professional interviewer as myself since I am in same type of business in retail in HR...I would have been hired by someone that took job more serious and was concious of their own recruiting performance. I was debating in contacting Senior recruiter and make her aware, but it's not worth it.
Other Details
I got the interview through a Recruiter and the interview consisted of a 1:1 Interview.

Interviewed May 2011 in Houston, TX (took 4 weeks)
I applied for an open Department Manager position at the Office Depot near my house. I got an email telling me to call the store manager and we set up an interview. After the first interview with him, I was told to wait a week and I did a phone interview. After that one, I was set up for another interview on the other side of town. In that one, two people were interviewing me at the same time. After I went through that one, they said I had one last interview with the District Manager, a week from that day. But they took too long, and I was offered a better position with another company.

Interviewed Feb 2008 in Kemah, TX (took a day)
Application was a regular paper application listing previous work experience, followed by a personality test on a computer. Interview was conducted in the manager's office and consisted of discussion of previous work experience and availability for work, after the interview I was sent to a nearby clinic for the drug test.
