Interviewed Feb 2012 (took 6 months)
I applied through my university's job board and was contacted in about 2 weeks to schedule an on campus interview on campus about a week and a half later, Feb 1, 2012. The interviewer was a younger woman from the Cleveland office. She was very friendly and made me feel more comfortable. The interview was about 45 minutes long. She asked about 8-10 behavioral questions and explained the type of work amd training and interview processes. She told me that I would not be informed if i was invited to the second interview in Chicago on April 16 until about 2 weeks before, so about 2 months. I was told that travel expenses were reimbursed, and the interview entailed a skills test that contained a writing portion and accounting/finance multiple choice questions, followed by an interview with 2 district managers. If hired, 6-8 month relocation to one of many training sites and then another relocation to your home office, which are both paid. You are expected to stay in the home office until commissioned, which takes about 5 years to complete. There is virtually no opportunity for transfers until commissioned, but the first choice of home offices is usually granted.
