Policy and Information Technology Officer Interview

Policy and Information Technology Officer
Toronto, ON (Canada)

I applied online and the process took 2 months - interviewed at Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario.

Interview Details – Initial communication via phone.
Two rounds of interviews. First round: One interviewer, casual conversation, requested writing sample. Second round: Two interviewers, prepared questions.
Somewhat slow response times.

Extremely friendly people from secretary to interviewers. Strong attempts to reduce the stress faced by the interviewee. Conservative, high workload environment. Strong focus on individual work within a loose-knit team.

Interview Question – You are at a security/privacy conference and encounter a high level manager from one of the Big Banks. He/she wishes to know, based on your expertise, what privacy issues are most pressing and how you would go about addressing them.   View Answer
