Interviewed Aug 2010 (took 2 weeks)
A phone interview that took about an hour. About a week later i had a sit down interview that took just a few minutes. It real depends on the situation. Typically you will interview with at least two people and then the district manager as well. If you interview with one of the DM's pets that may be as far as it goes, because they are"too busy" sometimes.

Interviewed Jun 2010 (took 1 week)
Was with the company for 10 years so my interview process wasn't very extensive. Basically entailed a phone interview with all of the generic questions. I got the job about a week later and the there was no negotiation process. It was a take it or leave it offer. I of course accepted the offer because they blackball anyone that turns them down from ever being promoted again.

Interviewed Aug 2010 in Minneapolis, MN (took 3 weeks)
Received a phone interview approximately 3 weeks after initial application. Asked several questions, basic questions about my current job, etc. Nothing too difficult.
They told me how the position came about, the process, etc, and mentioned that I was the most qualified on paper. They were going to forward my application on and I would be hearing back in a few days. It has been over a week, no call.

Interviewed Jul 2010 in Columbus, OH (took 1 week)
I was contacted by email by a Human Resource Manager who set up a phone interview for 2 days later. She called on the day of the interview and asked basic retail questions. She then asked me about salary requirements and let me know that she was passing my resume on to the store manager and if he didn't get back to me by the next week to email her. He called me later that day and set up an interview with himself and DM. At the interview I met with the DM first who offered me pointers and told me about the company and then he left the store. I met with the store manager and he asked me the questions off the questionaire (All very basic retail questions...What would you do with an upset employee or one who refused to follow the programs) The interview went extremely well, we ended up discussing for about 40 minutes after the questions. He said that he say me moving far with the company and they would be contact soon. it has now been 6 weeks and I have not heard from anyone. I called him after 2 weeks and he said that the ultimate decision was up to corporate and he hadn't heard anything but if I didn't then I would get a letter in the mail.

Interviewed Feb 2008 (took 2 weeks)
Recruited by Email/Phone and responded. Went over the typical questions, which was then scheduled for a more formal interview of pre set questions. Information then forwarded to DM for a 1 on 1. If you local you could meet face to face in a store setting, or phone interview.

After interviewing with the DM -- From there the decision is made when the recruiter calls you back to make an offer. There usually is some wiggle room in the number he gives you as I negotiated for more.
