Application Details

I applied online. The process took 1+ week - interviewed at OfficeMax in April 2010.

Interview Details

I applied online and received a phone call after maybe a week or two. I interviewed on the furniture pad with the Assistant Manager, who was very nice. We went over the basics, and the Assistant Manager took me to the office (which needed a facelift and a good cleaning) to meet the Store Manager. They offered me the job, and I accepted. I was required to go to an outside source for a drug test, and then wait about a week or so more before I could actually begin.

Interview Questions
  • Honestly, they were all pretty basic. They were desperate for people and I was the first person who didn't show up in sweat pants, so they didn't really ask tough questions.   Answer Question
Negotiation Details
There wasn't really a negotiation. Just an offer of a job for $8.00/hr.
