Interviewed Feb 2012 in New York, NY (took 4+ weeks)
It was more like a personality test than an interview. No questions about you, your experience, why marketing or even why Ogilvy. It felt very dry and like a standardized process. Be prepared with stories and lessons about "times you failed, times you dealt with conflict..."

Interviewed Feb 2011 in New York, NY (took 1 week)
HR was extremely friendly and the conversation flowed less like an interview and more like a "getting-to-know-you" chat. Not to say that it was informal, just that it wasn't structured as a string of questions. There was a very personal touch that I appreciated.

very fair process for interviewing entry level candidates, they asked very high-level questions to test your true character and interests. if you make it through the first round campus interviews then you move to super saturday, which is still very competitive but rewarding all the same. you are assessed through multiple interview types which allow you to present your full range of talents.

Interviewed Jun 2011 in New York, NY (took 3 weeks)
passed the phone interview and interviewed with the whole team for the position. 1 team member was really rude. She did show interest in what I was saying. kept cutting me while i was speaking. I alled the HR to follow up many times. She didnt write back to my emails nor did she call me back to let me know where I stood in the process. Obviosly it hadnt gone great but at least they could have been honest and told me they did nt want to move forward with me .

Interviewed May 2011 in New York, NY (took 2 days)
This was a referral, so the interview process itself was a little different. I was interviewed first by the HR person, with basic personal questions and then a mini-case question. I was then passed to a partner on the team I was interviewing for, for a 1:1, also with a mini-case.

Interviewed Mar 2011 in New York, NY (took 2 weeks)
I went into the interview thinking I was going for one brand, and it turns out I was interviewing 3 different groups of people for 3 different positions. It was confusing, and their HR department seems really scattered and disorganized. I left and then was called back for what I thought was a 2nd interview, but it turns out I was interviewing for 2 more positions. I did not get any of them because they hired someone with exact experience- even though one of the women was telling me straight up she wanted me on her team. Over all it left a really bad taste in my mouth.
