Interviewed Nov 2011 in Seattle, WA (took 2 days)
A friend of mine who works there referred me. I applied online, took this Taleo test that asks random and pointless as well as UNREALISTIC questions that can be easily answered through common sense and a week later I got a call from the Assistant Manager scheduling me for an interview the next day.
Went in the store, told them my interview time and the person I needed to see. They told me the AM was interviewing someone and that I should wait and they will call me by name and that I should browse around. The store was NEAT and wasn't busy. Workers are happily socializing and doing their job at the same time. While waiting I folded some clothes just to see how easy it, and it was.And there I saw the Assistant Manager was interviewing someone else before me. It was obviously a Seasonal (temporary) Sales Associate, which I didn't know because my friend specifically referred me and handed them my resume for their review. After the person was interviewed, I went ahead and the interview process started. It wasn't the typical interview you normal would go to where you have to dress so fancy and go to the back. It was an easy ON THE SALES FLOOR interview standing by the side of the entrance. The whole thing lasted for about 15 minutes, starting out with the most commonly used question "tell me about yourself" and ending with "do you have any questions for me". Easy interview. She'd let me know in a week or so if I will get hired. TWO DAYS LATER, I got a call and she offered me a position.

Negotiation Details
It's a seasonal job, so negotiation was as easy as "Hey, this is [Assistant Manager] and we would like to offer you a position!" and orientation dates and times comes in, training days and times comes in, and then the schedules and pretty much you're an employee.
Other Details
I Applied Online and the interview consisted of a 1:1 Interview, an IQ/Intelligence Test, a Skills Test and a Personality Test.

Interviewed Nov 2011 (took 2 days)
I applied to Old Navy online and about a day or two later I got a call to come in for an interview. I went to interview about fifteen minutes early and they had the interviewees browse the store until the interviewer was ready. A few minutes later all of the interviewees are called in for a group interview. The interviewer tells us that someone will call the next day if we got the job. I waited until around 4:00pm for the call, but no one called me so I called them. The person on the phone said that I got the job and that she'll call me back to schedule orientation. Just have your answers ready and speak up first. If you let someone else answer first then you'll have to come up with a new answer. Doesn't hurt to smile and make lots of eye contact, but not to much or it gets creepy.

Interviewed Nov 2009 in Eugene, OR (took 3 days)
I applied at a job fair and was called in for a 1:1 interview, met with the logistics manager and was asked the usual interview questions plus more logistics focused ones such as can you lift 50 lbs? do you mind getting dirty? are you ok with coming in at 5am? that sort of questioning. there was no test, just basically summed you up and offered you the position on the spot.

Interviewed Oct 2011 in Orange, CA (took 1 week)
I applied online (after filling out a paper application which was turned down since it's all online now), followed up via phone call to the manager, and was called a week after that to schedule an interview. I couldn't make the time she asked for so I asked for a different time if it was possible, she scheduled me an hour earlier and that was that. She seemed very nice and understanding so I was in good spirits. The day of my interview (first interview ever) I shook all my nerves out and walked in, telling one of the cashier's I had an interview and asked where to go. She pointed at a bench with a young man and a young woman. I sat between them and they seemed like they'd be better candidates than me due to them being a bit older. When the interviewer came out she was smiling and seemed very cheerful. She lead us to the backroom where of course as everyone has said---it was messy with clothes and very disorganized. She asked us to fill out a paper indicating our hours available and then we started the group interview. I answered about 3 of 4 questions and to be honest, I was WAY better than the other two candidates. I had sold myself well and they were saying all the wrong things and making themselves look bad. She promised to call us on Monday with whether or not we got a second interview but alas, she never did call. So I called a little later that week, she then told me to call the next week, and when I called the next week she had told me the 20 spots had been filled. Which perplexed me because I had done very well in my interview compared to the others. After the interview she was rude and did not do as she said she would.

Interviewed Oct 2010 (took a day)
Went into the store to ask if they were hiring and the girl kindly told me they were and gave me a card with the website and told me to apply online. Filled out everything online and got a call a few days later asking me to come in for a group interview. Got there early on the day of the interview and had to wait at the front with the other interviewees until they were ready for us. There were quite a few of us (probably 10-15 people) and two managers interviewing us (one training/hiring and one merchandising) so we all sat in a circle in the staff room). The managers asked questions and we each got a chance to answer (no particular order, we each just put up our hand if we had an answer or just spoke if we had input, very casual). At the end we were able to ask questions if we had any and they told us they would contact us to let us know if we got the job or not. Overall it was a nice casual interview, a little bit of pressure since it wad in a group so it's kind of competitive but everyone was nice. Also, you introduce yourself at the beginning and the managers keep track of how often you speak and write notes on your answer so make sure you give a lot of input. It can be tough to give totally different answers than someone who spoke before you but try your best to make it sound unique...if possible. A day or two later, they called me and told me I got the job and I accepted. Loved working there and I would definitely recommend it!

Interviewed Oct 2011 (took a day)
First Interviewed thoroughly by a shift leader for several questions of the interview and then walked over to speak to the store manager for the remainder of the interview. My time with the store manager was significantly less than the time spent with the shift leader.

Interviewed Oct 2011 (took 2 weeks)
I filled out an application on the Old Navy website after seeing the job posting on an online job board. I waited a week, then finally heard back from a manager. I came in two days later, was asked about previous jobs, fashion, and my availability. She said she would have the store manager call me to set up a second interview within the next week. The store manager called me later that night. I came in another two days later, was asked to tell me about yourself type questions. I asked a few questions pertaining to the job then I was hired on the spot.
