Interviewed Nov 2011 in Uniondale, NY (took 3 days)
My initial interview was on campus. It was a one hour 1 on 1 interview with general interview questions. Also, he asked me to answer two questions as if I was explaining it to someone on the street. The questions were, what is a bond and what is a derivative. The second round interview was at their Long Island office. The interview started with a 2 hour skills examination, testing your ability to follow directions and think logically. After that, was two 1 on 1 interviews with two employees, one of which was the initial interviewer., both were very personable. After these interviews, I was given a 15 minutes break, which by this point was nice to have. When I returned, I met with the group head, whose interview was a little more stressful then the other employees. Overall it was a long day, but nothing you shouldn't expect from a second round interview. I have a final round interview which they said should take about an hour coming soon.

Interviewed Jul 2011 in Houston, TX (took 2 weeks)
An employee refered me. I got a call to take test. I took test in any programming language, but experience with C/C++ and SQL helped. Got call, interviewed 3 more times and finally started negotiating. Interviewed one final time before offer became official. Last Interview was very very technical. Know your C#, .NET framework and JQuery(has nothing to do with job, but they were interested).
They low balled me first, but finally they put out the big dollars after I told them was willing to meet then in middle. Be agreesive in your demands, an energy job that requires 100% travelling should not paying you less than 80k.

They tried offer me almost half of what I asked for, we settled for something between. They tell you that they need to think about it little bit. But they call back. Dont settle for what they originally offer you. I say to them that if they wanted me travel, they going to have to better than that.

Interviewed Jun 2011 in Uniondale, NY (took a day)
There was a skills test which consisted of replying to client's emails. Had to follow basic guidelines to answer these emails which were a bit complex to follow. There was 1:1 interview after the test. Hiring manager was a very nice guy and asked some basic questions.

This was a very basic-about your resume interview. The recruiter who called me was quite active and responsive. But the interviewer was quite condescending and intimidating and would cut me in almost all my sentence to ask a different question. The attitude was so different from the other interviewers like I was questioned for every single small thing I did in my job and was asked to prove it.
This person would have been my manager. By the end of 30 mins, I had made the decision of not joining this company.

Interviewed Feb 2011 in London, England (United Kingdom) (took 2 months)
Open Link was small and friendly. The interview was 1-2-1 and I had 3 rounds
first round was skills test which contained 40 minutes test(choice C/C++ or C++/C# with UML & SQL)
Anyone with 4-5 years of good IT experience should do this in 40 minutes without a problem.
Usually I guess they have the skills test and then talk about the test and a white board session, But with me they were very flexible and called me for whiteboard session as the second round. The Guy was very techinical and wanted to know if whatever is mentioned in the CV is correct. This round was fine as the guy confirmed that the last round will be with technical director & then meet the team and HR round for negotiations. But the 3rd round the Tech Director wanted the same whiteboard session but wasnt ready to listen to the technical side, I guess he wanted to know from the Business side what I had done.
If any of you reach the 3rd round with Tech Director ensure the whiteboard session you potray more on why business had gone with your project approach and the Risks. Good luck!!

Interviewed Nov 2010 in London, England (United Kingdom) (took 2 months)
I have applied for the post back in September and I got the interview call in November. The process consisted of initial introduction round, technical test and presentation of current project on white-board.
The introduction round was okay with both parties trying to understand what the requirements are etc.
Then the technical test - Its on C++, C#, SQL, UML, C etc. and the time limit is 40 minutes. No, its not a multiple choice test, we need to provide definitions and reasons for all programming questions. I was told that this time limit is to test the candidate under stress conditions.
After the test the manager said I performed okay in the test, then he asked me to present the architecture of the current product which I am developing. I told him brief overview and explained things.
After 3 days my recruiter called me and said that they are not proceeding further with my profile. The reasons being I didn't ask many questions regarding the role at the end of interview and I didn't present the internal design details when I gave presentation on the product that I worked on.
