The man I met with was an executive director. From the moment I handed him my resume he was criticizing me. He was writing emails on his blackberry from the moment I got in there. He asked me a few questions about my resume then started checking my knowledge of the industry. He asked me to describe and M&A and when I did he told me "That's a stupid answer". I should've just left.

Walk through your resume
Why Sales and Trading?
Fixed income or equities?
What's your career goal?
How's your written and communication skills?
The people were very friendly. A few traders popped in to meet me during my interview and I repeated stuff in a different way. The head of the trading group asked more career goal questions while the analysts asked more about my skills and experiences.
