Interviewed Feb 2012 in Boston, MA (took 3 weeks)
Great interview experience. The interviewer was very nice yet straightforward. We went over my resume, he asked why I wanted the job and what I had accomplished that would make me right for the job. It consisted of three phone interviews and one in person interview. Each interviewer wanted to know more about me, where I saw myself in the next 10 years, and why I would best be fit for the job. I was very impressed with the company.

Interviewed Jan 2012 in Burlington, MA (took 4+ weeks)
Oracle college recruiting HR contacted me stating that I had been selected to explore employment opportunities with Oracle (I did my undergraduate in electrical engineering). I interviewed with several different groups on the phone and was flown out for an on-site interview with said groups. There were a few technical questions (transmission line/EM theory, fourier transforms, etc.) to see what I knew, but they mainly asked behavioral based questions/to explain my resume. It was basically to see if I was a match for what the groups were looking for; they already seemed to know I was competent, which was really refreshing. The building was fantastic, the people were very, very smart and friendly, there was free juice/soda/coffee/tea for all employees, and there were no cubicles - just offices! I got a formal offer for a hardware engineer position - board design - about one week later.

Negotiation Details
The offer exceeded my expectations, so I did not negotiate. Since the company is so large, there is little room to negotiate benefits, bonuses, etc.
Other Details
I got the interview through a College or University and the interview consisted of a Phone Interview, a 1:1 Interview, a Group/Panel Interview and a Background Check.

Interviewed Oct 2011 in Burlington, MA (took 2 weeks)
I talked to the manager at the career fair and we found that my interests aligned with what his group does. I apparently stood out, because I got a follow up phone interview, where we talked more about what his group did and I elaborated on my resume. After that, there was an on-site interview that was mainly them trying to see if I was a good fit for the group or not - no real technical questions. Then came the offer.

Interviewed May 2011 in Burlington, MA (took 4+ weeks)
Applied through school career website, linkedin, as well as Oracle's career site. Received screener phone interview from HR, then interviewed with 3 regional managers, and had a final in person interview with the director of business development.
They acknowledge the fact that they're a great company and have referred to it a couple of times throughout my interview process. Oracle wants applicants who are enthusiastic about the position and company, because they are confident that they can easily replace you with someone else who would be dying for the position.

Reason for Declining
After speaking with various managers of Oracle, I did not see myself fitting into the corporate culture whatsoever. Corporate culture was emphasized to be competitive, a lot of hard work, with a lack of work life balance. Offer package was also not very appealing - low base salary and the position did not seem to have much room for future promotions.
Other Details
The interview consisted of a Phone Interview and a 1:1 Interview.

Interviewed Jul 2009 in Burlington, MA (took 3 weeks)
Your website does not allow a person to go back past 2009, so I will correct that to 2006, since nothing has really charged in the interview process at Oracle.
I had tracked down the name of an internal recruiter and it took over 2 years to get in. In fact, the same recruiter had called me back after having landed a role with another software company and after being there only a little over a year. So, although I checked phone interview, that was only with an HR recruiter, the next step; was to come in and meet a Regional Manager for a discussion. The questions focused on how I prepared for the interview and what I new about Oracle and my general history. Lasted only about 45 minutes then I was called back in two days by the recruiter, sent a 10 page presentation template and asked to fill it out. The presentation if one is familiar with the industry is not bad, two or three business problems, how you would solve them. However, when I was scheduled to come in and do the presentation there was a 5 person panel which included the same Field RM who interviwed me, 2 people from what I call Pre-Sales (At Oracle they are called "SC's" Sales Consultants, there was GVP and a VP there as well.
The only surprise, which I considered a good one was the VP who I came to know well after accepting the offer was what he sked: "How do you translate the benefits you have put together so well, which do solve the customer's problem," into a dollar value that might mean something to the customer. My reply was simply: Benefits are translated to dollars and part of an overall business case, clients do not buy benefits, even if on the surface they solve a solution, there must be hard ROI. I then asked if they would like me to construct a mock business case. They say, no, thank you, I noticed the RM smile a bit and the next day I received a call with an offer.

Negotiation Details
I cannot disclose numbers, this would betra an NDA, but I will say Oracle pays lower than most companies, but there is a reason for this. A person gains a great deal of knowledge on a variety of Applications and Technology products and their benefits are second to none. Also, they do not toy with non-producers and most employers know if you have made it at Oracle more than 18 months, you're very successful at what you do.
Other Details
I got the interview through a Recruiter and the interview consisted of a Phone Interview, a 1:1 Interview, a Group/Panel Interview, a Presentation and a Background Check.

Interviewed Feb 2011 in Burlington, MA (took 2 weeks)
Interview was not carried out by any of the people on the list sent. The questions had nothing to do with the huge amount of information given to me to prepare. I was asked to stay til 7.30 pm, a full hour & a half later than scheduled.
Interview Questions
Reason for Declining
I had a second face to face interview which I was late for. I told my recruiter in advance that I would be around 30 minutes late. She told me to go anyway & explain why I was late. I completed the hour long journey to the office. They turned me away at the door.I have 10 years experience at the top of my profession, an MBA & an Law Degree. Oracle treated me very disrespectfully. My wife has 23 years experience in Recruiting, including 4 years at Mckinsey. She has never turned any candidate away at the door (particulalry if She had already asked the candidate to appear at the Office 30 minutes before).

Interviewed Jul 2010 in Burlington, MA (took 6 weeks)
First I have contacted the Oracle HR recruiter who sent me a list of questions in regards of my sales experience, this position consisted of selling SUN products to a specific territory.
After answering list of questions in regards of specific experience such as quota managed and specific background experience, I was schedule with the HR person on a one-on-one interview, most of the questions were about my background and experience in selling software and cases.
The second stage of interview was an interview in person on the same day with 4 different Sales Managers. Each interview consisted of 30 min. Questions would range about my background, why am I a good fit, and Oracle Offerings.
Later on the week, I had another phone interview with the IT specialist, questions would also range on behavioral questions and experience.
Then the final stage was a week later where I had to present on why the customer should buy Oracle product and deliver a specific solution for a customer seeking more software offering and expending his IT infrastructure. The presentation was about 20 min infront of 5 Sales Manager and then a list of quesitons from the managers were asked. THe same dayI had a verbal offer. After the presentation I had to wait for 3 weeks for the Background check and to get a written offer.
I have tried to negotiate the offer - no negotiation

Interviewed Jan 2008 in Burlington, MA (took 2 days)
Previous manager invited me in for a role in his group so I probably did not have to prove myself as if no one knew me. Met 2 people on my first day including my previuos manager and 2 about a week later.
A job offer came about a week and a half later. I tuned down the job because a start up offer came up with plenty of options.
